My baby name is Sunshine.
My baby name is Sunshine. The color I was showed was not the color I got. I love blue when I saw the blue it was different, It didn't pop, I was still like ok whatever, as long as it's blue, she'll grow on me. Before I get her I had only seen one a few yrs back and was puzzled like a buick with a rag top?? Is that a convertible?? Anyway, fast forward... usually when u buy a car u start seeing a lot of them. Well, I didn't so I'm looking at cars (waiting on the delivery of mines) I finally seen the blue I was getting and I was like, ok that's cute. The day of my new arrival. Omg she was more beautiful in person and the Blue was NOT the blue I thought. She popped!!! This baby is beautiful and rides so smooth I wanted something different and she has not disappointed me at all she had 15,910mi I've had her for a lil over 6mos. She sitting at 25k now. Absolutely no regrets i am her third and prayfully her last owner.

Can not repair GM is already discontinuing parts
DO NOT BUY! We just purchased and before our first payment was do it started leaking massive amounts of oil after further inspection we found that it has developed a crack all the way across the oil pan. No big deal we will just replace it right? WRONG Buick has so kindly discontinued the oil pan part number 55590832 with no replacement. No body has one in stock now how could they discontinue a part which is vital to the engine internal live source shame on you Buick this will be the last GM I ever purchance. I would advise nobody buy one as it will turn into a expensive paperweight in your driveway unable to be repaired.

5 star Reliability - worry free to own.
Buick Cascade convertible is the most reliable car, after having Volvos, Chevys, & Alphas. The numbers say its tops in reliability for all Buick models and the Brand is highly reliable across the board.

Great Car but dated
This car is a great convertible with a few flaws, The center stack of buttons is outdated, but the sexiness of the car makes up for that. Lots of safety on this car and the first thing to do is put get a extended warranty or Car Shield for help if needed.

My current car.
I have to take it in all the time. Extended warranty. And they only cover what they want when it breaks. And I still am under warranty.

MORE STYLISH THAN I THOUGHT
This car was exactly what I wanted and needed. I was looking for a car with more comfort and style than I had and was rewarded with extra features.

Great car
I purchased a used 2017 Red sport touring Cascada a few months ago. It had 11,000 miles on it and was literally in show room condition. The person who owned this car previously must have really loved it. This is my third convertible. I had a 99 Toyota celica and still own a 06 solara. The Buick has far less cowl shake than either of those two and handles much better. Solara is floaty in comparison and definitely more jarring on bad roads. V6 in solara is superior to Buicks turbo 4 but only from a dead stop. When merging or passing the Buick feels about equal in power. Solara currently has 200k miles and hasn’t skipped a beat no problems other than routine maintenance. The cascada supposedly has excellent reliability and has been credited with helping keep Buick in the top 10 most reliable vehicle brands for 2017 model year. Time will tell I guess. Any car from any manufacturer can be a lemon and when it happens to you it tends to poison your mind against them. I think most “professional “ reviews I have read about this car have been unfair. Biggest complaints are it’s too heavy and slow, has too many buttons, is outdated, cheap interior plastics, no push button start. The slow part is simply untrue. It’ fine for most people and let’s be honest if you wanted speed you would be purchasing a Camaro vert or bmw M something. Too many buttons? No I find them perfect. Nothing can replace the tactile feel of a button and can’t stand how much modern cars have put into their touchscreens, it’s dangerous and cumbersome. Plus love the busy cockpit look, especially at night. Outdated interior? Don’t get that at all unless they mean it’s not Spartan enough? Idk. Plastics don’t seem cheap to me. On par with typical American cars IMO. Let’s be real 40k$ Is not what it used to be and the real luxury market is north of 60k$ now anyway. Push button start? Who cares. Until they make a car that can recognize me without having to have a fob or something else to carry it makes no difference to me. Overall I really like this car and is my favorite convertible to date. It really is in a class by itself and now that it has been discontinued there’s nothing new you can buy like it. I guess it was the last of a dying breed. While it suffers from things most convertibles do like bad gas mileage, poor rear visibility, a little more wind noise with top up, and by the way this is one of the quietest rag tops I’ve been in, these are all things we as convertible lovers forgive because dropping the top turns ordinary drives into something a bit more fun.

WAY too many problems for a new car...UGH
From the start, this car has been problems. Hate to say it, but it's a stereotypical American car story. My car only has 30K miles...and I drive it daily...i's still quite new. However, since I've bought it, I've had the entire steering wheel assembly replaced, there was a hole in the valve cover, and multiple electrical problems. It rattles and creaks unlike any other car I have ever owned...just not manufactured well at all. Fit and finish are horrible compared to my old Toyota Solara. I put the Buick in the same category as the Chrysler Sebrings that I have owned...though it is a much better LOOKING car than the Sebring. They ALL had multiple mechanical issues and rattled/creaked from the beginning. Wish I still had my Solara...

It seems okay!
My wife would sum up this first review after having the car for one day, with the words, “It’s mine!” I need not say more. Give us a few months, we’ll talk.
