I'm VERY happy with my Encore!

My first SUV exceeds my expectations. Great design, wonderful safety and convenience features, decent gas mileage, quiet cabin-all combined with Buick reliability, a winner in every way.

I drove for a Buick Encore during vacation

I rented this car for a 10 day vacation in Arizona and loved it immediately. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it was in the interior. The interior was all leather, like all leather, not pleather, not just trim pieces but full leather, heated steering wheel and seats, Android Auto, power drivers seat. Awesome! Keyless entry allowed me to just have the key in my pocket to open doors and hatch. Since I was hiking trails with gear and supplies it was great to not fumble with a key. The car is turbo and pass on mountain roads just fine with automatic transmission. My previous car had a CVT transmission so that was sluggish. The horsepower is average but the turbo gives it the boost it needs. I returned from vacation in Arizona to Boston, MA and bought a 2017 Encore AWD with 85 miles on it.

Easy going commuter

I chose this vehicle for its AWD and height, but it doesn't feel like it's too big of an SUV to be clunky. I enjoy driving it and especially like the great gas mileage.

A great little subcompact SUV

This is the first Buick I've ever owned -- the 2017 Encore had a bit of a refresh in styling from the year before, both in its exterior and interior -- best was the interior refresh. The touch screen is now integrated into the dash -- no "stand up" screen as before. I have the next to highest trim level, the Essence -- dual zone HVAC controls for the front seat passenger and driver, and leather interior. Great gas mileage -- the turbo charged four cylinder does a good job -- a bit louder engine sounds than a six cylinder. Overall, a great little car.

Rebuilt engine and new brakes required 11,000 mile

Gravely disappointed in the Buick Encore. In for repairs twice in the last month. First time rebuilt engine and replaced rear brakes, two weeks later, replaced rear brakes again. Went back to the dealership and he priced the buy back at 50 cents on the dollar. This for a year old car with less than 12,000 miles. Bad deal.

So far, so good.

This is the first SUV I've owned and I love it! The smaller size makes it easy for me to zip in and out of parking spaces and it is easy to handle. I've taken it on road trips and it performed very well.

Very comfortable to drive

Got a great price on a Buick Encore and so far everything has been great. The ride is very smooth and it fits my family of four perfectly. The infotainment system has been excellent and the WiFi has brought fortnite into the car so the kids are happy.
