2024 Buick Envista consumer reviews

Working on 2 years now with my new Buick, looking at this vehicle from the outside you really feel like you’re looking at an expensive car, the inside of the car is nicely done for the price point. First model year for the Envista. You have to expect some issues., I had my car in twice to have the radio reprogrammed or updated whichever you wanna call it. I’ve had the sunroof motor replaced as that has worn out. I haven’t had any other issues with the vehicle, the ride is great. It’s fairly quiet, it gets great gas mileage and it totally suits my need as far as space , comfort, and appearance. There are just a couple of things that I would change about this vehicle if I could. First, I would upgrade the sound system to something better, the sound system is pretty good but I bought the Avenir and one would think that model should’ve had a premium sound system. Express up windows could’ve been added, not just expressed down. The car could’ve used some additional sound deadening material. Buick are known for being quiet vehicles, I think the additional sound deadening and also maybe an 18 inch wheel in the satin nickel finish would’ve been nice. I have the 19 inch wheels and I think the 18 inch would’ve given it a better ride but it’s still pretty decent. The car is quiet however it is not that Buick quiet that I’ve had before in other Buicks. Would I buy this car again, probably not but not because there’s anything wrong with it, just because I would probably want to change. I’m at retirement age so I did buy this vehicle knowing I’m going to keep it probably as my last vehicle. Is it a nice vehicle absolutely, is it worth the money? Absolutely, should you buy one of these that’s entirely up to you after a test driving it, but I don’t think you would be disappointed as long as you understand what you’re paying for. You are not spending 40 to 50,000 on a vehicle buying this car and you’re getting something that looks definitely like it could be worth 40,000.

Bought vehicle new left dealer and car failed dealer told me software failed to load correctly reloaded software was good till. At 32800 miles july 2025 check engine lite on error message stabtrac display info won't display adaptive steering error other problems they said software for display replaced sw 2 days later back at shop replaced radio module check engine lite on again 2weeks later replaced module car died when leaving dealer in shop till oct 2025 replaced xmission module Nov 11 2025 check engine lite will not start same error messages as original problem 🍋 I do not trust this car electronics are screwed up. I understand that other people don't have this problem

I previously drove an Encore GX with LOTS of extras. This car was missing a few that I really missed. The seat belt does NOT adjust up and down. I did have adjustable seats, but raising the seat up did not help keep the seatbelt from irritating my neck. Seats were not as deep as the GX and did not support my legs on longer trips. I bought it as a courtesy car with only 3,000 miles on it and got a great deal but only kept it for 3 months and traded for a GX Sport Touring and am much happier.

The reason why I am writing this is because I know the mileage is off because there is no way I can drive 100 miles in the city in one day it's not possible. This is a complaint for me because I feel it needs to be looked at.

This is a very exceptional automobile featuring many safety features at a very affordable price compared to higher priced vehicles! The car is very attractive and sporty and has earned many admiring comments from people I have met in parking lots. The only drawbacks which might turn off certain prospective buyers are the 3 cylinder turbo engine and the lack of a 4 wheel driving option. Other than that this is a very attractive auto at an unbeatable price!

Prior to purchasing my Buick Envista, I had done quite a bit of research and I found that much of what was said was misleading. It's performance I think is very good, realize you are getting a 3 cylinder turbo engine, but for what you get and honestly what you need, it is excellent. I purchased the S/T model and it is a great looking car and I receive great comments about it all the time. I strongly recommend for the money you can't go wrong and will be vey happy with your purchase.

2024 Avinir, Quiet and full of pi55 and vinegar, definitely and defiantly punches above it's class. Full of top shelf safety features and driver aids. Not a fan of the engine stop/start feature but it has its place I suppose. Coming from a competition audio background the sound system is very clean and bright but lacks any substantive sub frequency response, well see what the aftermarket will have for me. First tank of fuel from the dealer must have been low grade 87 octane and the engine just wasn't liking it. Inconsistent low end torque would put the car into a weird spot on the turbo curve, not as smooth as it should be. The next full up I put in was 89 octane and the difference was stark, a much smoother run up to the turbo power band. So don't penny pinch on the fuel use good brand @89/91 octane (13 gallon tank...). Oil changes are super easy. The filter and drain plug are placed, IMHO, to take away any excuse for not keeping good oil on the engine! The tires size is 19" so the handleing is great but overall ride could be better with 18". My son has a Trax Active and it has a bit better road manners than my Envista, not so much felt road texture. YMMV. Super value and right sized commuter, spend any real time getting to and from work a you will appreciate your decision to get one of these for you self!

The engine vibrate to much, did a test drive and the vibration on the engine is a lot, don't know if this engine is going to make 60000 miles
