Patty in Bossier

I have owned a 2007 Lacrosse for 15 years now and love that car very much. The only problem I have ever had is the coolant system currently. This car is extremely reliable and fuel efficient. The slow pickup is due to the type of engine Buick puts in to prolong the life and performance. I have the medium red version shown above with tan interior. Some owners do not take care of these cars as should be done which create issues written about in the other reviews. Proper care helps a LaCrosse perform as designed and the owner smile as I do showing off an award winner when first debuted. None can compare to my LaCrosse or be as great to drive. This car would not be traded for anything!!!! Eventually, it will become classic status at which time a full restoration will be attempted. I love Big Red and so does my chichuahua.

Bought 86000kms now has 232300kms

This was and still is the best car I’ve ever owned. It had issues with the thermostat and Radiator but was a simple fix, usual repairs such as wheel bearings and brakes. But that’s to be expected.

Ok car I wish I didn’t buy it

I’ve had this car for 3 weeks and I’ve already put almost $3000 into it. Now at a stop I accelerate and it has a delay it only has a little over 105,000 miles I’m not sure what it is.

Disappointed

We had to replace the front suspension and now it need a a catalytic converter. The car has been treated extremely well and never driven hard or recklessly. Furthermore, the company sent one recall the dealer told me to bug off about (something about the key and the starter). Another recall had me driving 150 miles home at night with only brights (after having replaced the headlights several times). They fixed that issue. There are other recalls online they never bothered to tell me about. The FOB and electric start worked for about a year. The dealer didn't care and was going to charge me to fix it. There was another issue (can't remember) that would have cost another 3,000 to fix had I not spent 2,500 on an extended warranty. This car just isn't reliable and costs way to much to keep on the road. I just bought tires and an facing another 1,800 in repairs. Buick and GMC don't care. Nor do they care to make a reliable or quality product.

2007 LaCrosse is the best car I've owned.

Very dependable and inexpensive to maintain car. After 130,000 miles this car seems read to go another 100,000. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a comfortable family sedan.

Very comfortable transportation

This car is equipped with the 3.8 liter V6, which is a conservative and well built engine with a fine history of reliability. I am less confident of the newer design 3.6 liter V6 simply because more attention is given to weight reduction required in more modern designs. Time will prove if it is up to the 3.8 liter reputation. The car is most comfortable for both long haul and short hops. Controls are easily accessed from the driver’s position. Hardware seems to be of sufficient quality for a car of this design. The exterior finish seems to be very weather resistant, having sat outside in Indiana weather for the 9 years it has been in the family. Current odometer is 62,000 miles. In comparing other similar cars, many are well over 100,000 and some approaching 200,000. Sensible driving and maintenance is key to reliability... no substitute for that.

Best Buick I Ever Owned

This car has every option I ever need, plus more than that. I don't need to put the seat so close to the steering wheel to see over the front end, as I've done in other cars. Because of that, the ride is very comfortable. It rides like a champ.

Used Luxury For A Decent Price

My grandfather had bought the 2007 Buick LaCrosse CXL new, and as I went into high school my family purchased it as my daily commuter. After high school I used it to travel between home in VA to college in ME multiple times in a year, and not once have I had a major problem that has caused me to not be able to drive it. Through driving it so much here are a few things I think are important about the car: While it may be considered an old man's car, there is nothing wrong with living the luxury life in it, as for an older model the BOSE stereo, dual climate control, and heated/leather seats make for a comfortable cross country ride. Even with luxury the car is no slouch, even though the base engine V6 says the 0-60 time is at 8.8 seconds, it feels much faster and the ride handling is very smooth, even when pushing the pedal down all the way and feeling the car shifting into overdrive. If driven carefully you can get 28ish mpg on the highway, but usually the average is around 20 mpg with around town and highway combined. There's plenty of cargo space too, as moving into an apartment by myself only took a few trips. Overall I loved every minute I had with this car, and going on 100,000 miles it is still fully functional with no major problems, and the only reason I'm giving it up to my little brother is so that I can have 4WD in the snow up in Maine.
