Mine resembles a clunker but works like new

by Neil from East detailed on Sat Aug 24 2013

I bought this model car for 200$ from my sister. The paint is pealing off, the interior is faded and the cloth on the ceiling is sagging, there is a hole straight to the outside under the rear passenger seat ( failed inspection cause seatbelt is supposed to attach there) and the brake lines blew a hole. Being that the thing has over 200,000 miles and was neglected by several other owners and it still runs great I'd say once I fix it up it'll be a great car for several more years (giving it an overhaul from all the rust to the paint and undercoat). With it being Really comfortable to drive, and having great acceleration as well as the sturdy feeling you get from sitting in it, it's a quality car. The dashboard resembles that of a vehicle from the 60's which I feel fits the old style luxury feel of the car. So far I've been fixing the problems without new ones developing. Would defiantly recommend this car. Especially if the car is in better shape then mine.

Most reliable car I've ever had

by Cheap about cars from Brooklyn, NY on Tue Sep 25 2007

Great car, few problems, good mileage. Only one complaint--the paint keeps coming off. I've had it painted once already. But otherwise, it has been a pleasure.

Nice Car but outdated

by Maurader from Cedar Rapids, IA on Sat Jul 12 2008

Decent car. Decent gas mileage. Somewhat fun to drive but still can feel the bulk. So far very reliable. Paint fades and peels with age but probably more than average. Ugly interior not updated from the 80's models. Overall not bad.

a very good car overall, great family car, lotsa room. The motor - 3.8 V-6 - has been very reliable. the only problem has been: the intake manifold gaskets have leaked twice. It needs that repair right now. but that didn't occur until very high mileage. It has plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 kids.

Truly the most reliable car I've ever owned.

by todeha62 from Winder, GA on Fri Nov 02 2018

Well built solid car. Comfortable and reliable Buick. Low cost to maintain. This Buick V6 gets gas mileage in town and highway. Car manufactors don't make them like this one anymore.

Our Take on the 1993 Buick LeSabre

Buick engineers have done some fine-tuning on the 1993 LeSabre.

It was just last year that Buick overhauled the LeSabre. But Buick engineers haven't been given much time off; there are a few improvements in the 1993 model.

This year, for instance, the seats are top-notch, the engine's performance has been beefed up and anti-lock brakes are standard on all models.

The LeSabre exceeds what we've come to expect out of American cars in general and from General Motors in particular.

I see no difference between the LeSabre or a Lexus or a Mercedes-Benz in the quality of the way the vehicles are assembled.

In fact, the LeSabre is one of the most impressive cars I've driven this model year.
