Lots of room in the trunk

I owned this 2007 from 2011 to 2017. I kept all of the maintenance up on the car. It had an issue with the turning and I did have to have this fixed. Once that was completed the car turned so much nicer than before. It would have been costly taking it to the dealer as it was a small part within a part. I had a mechanic fix it for much less. Not sure if all Lucerne's had this issue or just mine. It was a nice car but it was time to buy newer.

After 50,000 miles it became expensive

It meets all my needs, so far. It has far more equipment than I neeeds, and have yet to learn everything.the manual that came with it is about two inches thick. Needless to say, I hate to read. I feel safer in this car than my previous car. It has a lot of safety features. It's ride is comfortable.

Most comfortable ride ever!!!

I wish they still made them. I would buy another. Will probably get a Lacrosse to replace it in a few years.

Best car I ever had!

Have owned this car (07) now for almost eleven years. Getting the itch for a convertible... but gotta say, I'm reluctant. Have the north star w/almost 100,00 on it and only money spent has been routine maintenance...love this car! Best I've ever owned!! So gonna think about it...almost 65 now and time for a convertible...or not?

Great for long trips!

My Lucerne and I have been through a lot. I own 11 vehicles. Love my Lucerne. The car has 172,000 miles and I don't want to trade it in. I trust this car for long trips. Events in my Buicks life: Dealer dropped a garage door on car when it was 1 yo, trips to FL, trip to TX, deer hit, replace trans at about 109,000, teen daughter used it for 1.5 years (I was happy to get it back, day I got it back, pulled over for inspection past due by two weeks, LOL). The 3800 engine is very reliable. Important to change oil and lube! I put about 1,000 miles on every two weeks when I don't need a truck for work.

Good Car But...

This is a nice riding car with roomy interior. It works for my family of five. However, over the eight years I have owned it, it has needed numerous repairs, from the from end to the dampers for the heat. I wish it had a longer warranty extention but it wasn't offered.
