2012 Regal eassist
I have a 2012 Regal eassist with the premium 2 trim plus the optional navigation and sunroof.. I have no issue with the car's acceleration, its more than adequate and the engine is very smooth and quiet. The stop/start system is seamless 90% of the time. Sometimes the engine will come on after you idle for a minute at a long traffic light and that process does send a slight vibration through the cabin. The city mileage is nowhere near the 25mpg EPA rating but I'm not surprised at that. In pure city driving Im lucky to get 20mpg, but I generally cannot get any car to match EPA "city" ratings. On the highway the car can easily do 34mpg and I've gotten as high as 38 on a level highway. I have been disappointed with some of the panel fits inside the car, several gaps are too large- especially the one between the glovebox door and the surrounding trim. I have not looked at other 2012s built in Canada to see if this is common.

Most expensive I've ever owned.
The base engine is adequate for my style. The interior is ninicely designed, the middle back seat is stiff. The exterior mirrors are too high creating left turn visibility problems. At night part of the dashboard reflects in the upper portion of windshield. The exterior design is eye catching. I have 3200 miles on vehicle, so far so good.
