The Buick Regal Sportback is a German-built Opel Insignia
The Buick Regal Sportback is a German-built Opel Insignia re-badged as a Buick and imported to the US. Ours has the torque-vectoring AWD system and all the options available (sunfoof, adaptive cruise, nav, bose, etc.). We wanted the 'sportback' design and test-drove all the others (VW, etc.). The Opel/Buick had the least turbo-lag of any of them, and this particular comparison was not even close. Yes, the FWD versions are even quicker and get better gas mileage, but the tourque-vectoring AWD is a driving experience you won't ever forget. We LOVE this car!

Uneeliabke
I have had nothing but problems with this car which I purchased new. Sunroof leaks water into the car, the infotainment constantly cuts audio and freezes, and I have had 4 different oil leaks. The oil leaks I have had the dealer attempt to repair over 5 times including two tows. All of this within warranty … most of the issues showed up before the vehicle had 40k miles. This is easily the least reliable car I have ever had. It’s comfortable and has nice features, but, unless you personally own an auto repair shop, you should look at something more reliable.

Bought used reasonable priced
Reliable good highway car , nine speed automatic and can feel smooth shifting; unlike CVT vehicles. 2 Lt. Turbo -sufficient 250 horsepower .Hidden hatchback design ; good thinking GM; adds extra space for carrying cargo. Will be discontinued in 2020. Last of North American Buick sedans. Only drawback is the stop/ start in traffic automatic function. Overall satisfied.

Good looking
I've got the Vauxhall insignia in the UK with the 2.0 deisel which gets up to 70 mpg and at our prices that's great. You get a lot of car for not a lot of money

Great Value in German built vehicle
In shopping for a premium new or used vehicle I came across a new Buick Sportback. Good acceleration, 30 plus mpg, tons of space as this is a hatchback. The technology is straightforward. I have a preferred with a few options and meets my needs. The MSRP is a bit steep for what you get. Since this vehicle is discontinued rebates make this a great value at all trim levels.
