Not bad

Not a bad vehicle, but the handling is terrible. I can barely drive it on the highway because it shakes and almost goes into other lanes.

Not the greatest

We bought a 2003 new in '04. We've had it in the shop more times than I can even recall. It started before the warantee ran out. Replaced shocks, wheel hub assemblies (both, and doing it again), starter, something in the rear end...I could go on but I'd have to get out the paperwork (there IS more). Now it has rocker arm issues in the motor, may end up very costly. May be why they quit making them. I've given up on SUV's

Great Concept....

Replaced= Intake Gasket, Driver and Passenger window clips, Factory battery burst, A/C compressor, 2 fuel injectors and the Sunroof motor. All under 65k miles. This was a CXL. The concept was great, lots of room and all the bells and whistles..... Just wished they all worked.

So comfortable!

I have had a few electrical problems with this vehicle, but overall, I LOVE it!! Lots of room and very comfortable for short trips. Comfort is huge for me! I don't mind putting in a few $$$ to fix small things. I am all about feeling spoiled when I drive, and it does a GREAT job of it!

Comfortabe but Unreliable

I purchased this new in 2003. Since that time I've had to replace the manifold/head gasket, have front bearings repaired twice (once under warantee), fix the air conditioning and fix the transmission. GMC distanced themselves from the manifold/head gasket problem since the repair was done after warantee, and also feel it is not unexpected that the transmission should fail at 160 000km. This is the quality of Buick that GMC is producing. Expect major mechanical problems. My next vehicle will be an import.

among the best

I've owned 20 Cadilacs, 3 Rolls Royce (including a custom built Muliner Park Ward, also called a Cornish) Aston Martins, Jaguars, Mercedes Benz, Many Chevrolets, Fords, Mercury's, Lincolns, Chryslers and some I don't remember. Most were used in Business. Frankly, the so called luxury cars of the past don't hold a candle to the cars being built now.

Multiple problems

WE bought a 2003 Rendezvous in 2005, it was just what we wanted. The third row was perfect for our family, the car handled well and was pretty. We had to have extensive engine repair at 60,000 miles due to gasket seal problem which our mechanic says is common with this vehicle. The traction system need repair three times and still is not right. At 90,000 during normal driving condition we blew a rod and we need to replace the entire engine. Needless to say this is last Rendezvous we'll ever do.

pleasure to drive.

The Buick gives me a big bang for my buck. It has ample power and fuel economy is OK. Very comfortable to drive. The only issue I have had is the driver side window power needed replaced. $265.
