sweet comfortable luxury car BUT when the northstar engine starts acting up you're in for a major headache .The cost f parts and repair is outrageous

The 2006 Cadillac DTS was an engineering nightmare I presently own one and although it is the year 2022 this car is in perfect shape everything works but it has a rear main seal oil leak and I bought the car for $4,000 and the cost to repair this car was over 7,000 I don't understand why general motors would not repair an engineering mistake of such capacity that being said I will never buy another general motors product as long as I'm alive and I will not recommend them to any of my friends good luck hope you have a good life.

This vehicle gives you one problem after another one, it never ends. I barely drive it anywhere, and something constantly breaks in it. I have scion tc that had been wrecked twice and rebuild, and it never gives me any problem and this caddilac dts is a joke, I would never ever in my life buy it again, or would not take it if someone offered me a free one. Plus the parts cost is unreasonable. There is no reason for a bulb to cost 100 dollars, it's a bulb, not a piece of gold. I hate it with all my heart, will never give another chance to this car, it's ugly on the top, I regret the day we decided to buy it.

I love this car, but due to my disability, I have a hard time getting out of the car. This is a great car for the right person.

Most Unreliable car I ever purchased. I have had it less than 60 days, only put approximately 1000 miles on it and the rack needs to be replaced (have not even made my first payment). STAY AWAY!

Wonderful vehicle. 14 years old & I still get many compliments. It’s that special white exterior that changes color especially under bright lights. Still rides & drives like new. Quite incredible.

I love my Cadillac DTS! Its a beautiful car inside & out and I constantly get compliments on it, If I get on it , it will MOVE so I love the power it has as well..but within 2 months of buying it we had to put a transmission in it also did the drivers side wheel bearings twice and the passenger side once and I can already hear the drivers side again, leaks oil like a sieve and now I need to put shocks on it. Great car, but anywho who's owned a cadillac knows what they are getting into.

Overall, The most well built solid vehicle offered in it's class. A no brainier if you demand the best in not only style wise but the arguably the finest engine built, the Northstar V-8!

I bough this car to drive to work and around town. I was driving a ss camaro which I love but being a 6 speed manual it wasn’t fun to drive after working all day. The dts is very smooth and gets fair gas mileage (20mpg). I bought the car with 100,000 miles on her and she still looks good. I’m hoping to drive her for a couple of years.

This car is wonderful. Very spacious no worries about leg room front or back. Very comfortable. Has heated/cooled fronts seats. Heated back seats. Heated steering wheel. A/C controls front and back. Super smooth ride going down the road. Perfect for long road trips. Has two phone charges in the back.
