2023 Cadillac LYRIQ consumer reviews

Overall, very satisfied with our Lyriq. Beautifully designed and mostly trouble free for literally a brand new vehicle with brand new technology. Solid and comfortable. One complaint is that super cruise works sporadically. One day on a certain stretch of highway, It works fine, the next day,not so much. What’s up with that? Would also love to see more than a measly six month trial on OnStar. Unless you pay for an OnStar subscription, you can’t track your vehicle through the app or even start it from the app. Come on Cadillac you’re not Chevrolet, you can do better, especially for this important vehicle.

After waiting for 13 months we purchased this car from Foundation Cadillac in Wheatridge, CO. being forced to pay $5K over invoice. I have only driven it 1300 miles in 5 months due to the many different and continuous problems we have had with the electronics of the vehicle. My wife has yet to drive the car due to its unreliability. In fact, it is currently at the dealership for more repairs, and G.M. will not release it back to us because it is an unsafe vehicle. The general manager of Foundation Cadillac has repeatedly promised to "make things right" but has done nothing. Repeated communications with G. M. have not achieved any acceptable results. I am age 79 and a Vietnam-era vet with PTSD. My wife is my jr. by 13 years and has a terminal illness. We had been looking forward to this purchase as our last and best vehicle ever. It has turned out to be the worst ever, not just because of the unreliability of the car but the repeated and uncaring response of G.M. and Foundation Cadillac's general manager.

Purchased vehicle in Feb 2023. Had minor software issues but resolved. At 4K miles extremely happy with performance, ride and comfort. Very stylish and received lots of compliments.

3,500 miles in and almost the perfect car. Smooth ride, great tech. Almost too quiet, great sound system, cameras are excellent. Handles great. Love it.

I have owned a Lyriq for four weeks.(3/23 delivery) Radio stopped working (fixed) Driver assist system does not work Front and rear cameras do not work Super cruise does not work Right rear turn signal does not work. Download patches from Cadillac to dealers in Phoenix, do not work. (I have spoken to two dealers) To boot, I called Cadillac’s evconcierge line and was transferred to five different people and was disconnected twice. A rep said their phone systems are having glitches. If they don’t have a phone system that works how will they ever get a ev to work. Very disappointed.

Amazing ride......super quiet inside! Love the 22" wheels. It has supercruise and performs flawlessly. 14 speaker AKG audio system rocks! I definitely recommend this vehicle. Cadillac hit this one out of the park!
