I sat and watched all the YouTube Videos I could find on

I sat and watched all the YouTube Videos I could find on the Lyriq. I decided on the 2024 Lyriq Luxury 2 because of the select features that It came with or I could add to the vehicle. With a personal check to place an order, I went to my favorite Dealership " Plaza Cadilac in Leesburg, FL. When I arrived to place my order I could see several Lyriq's lined up. The one main Item that I wanted was the 19.2 on-board charging system rather than the 11.5 system. My salesman scoured their inventory and found one with the equipment I wanted but not the color. He found a 2024 Lyriq Luxury 3 with a 19.2 charging system and a whole lot more. One of the main items this time around was the all-glass roof with the power shade. They brought up an all-white vehicle with a beautiful real leather interior and all the bells & whistles that Cadillac is known for. The car is a stunning showpiece in gleaming white paint and just enough chrome to make it stand out without being gaudy. A Vehicle that folks stop and look at in the Church parking lot, The Post Office, or the Grocery Store. At night the vehicle lights up the way around it as it glides along. When you see it, you know it's a Cadillac lyric.

Owned for a year and love it.

Owned for a year and love it. Beautiful style, quiet and comfortable. More luxury than sport. Feels creamy smooth driving and all controls. No issues yet.

I’ve driven my 2024 Lyric Sport 3 since May 2024.

I’ve driven my 2024 Lyric Sport 3 since May 2024. I get stopped at traffic lights and in parking lots by people asking about it and telling me how beautiful it is. It had some technical difficulties, but nothing that wasn’t overcome with simple settings changes or software updates. It’s not as fast off the line as my 2023 Mustang Mach-E GT was, but the smooth ride and more reliable tech makes it worthwhile. It’s the most beautiful and technologically advanced cars I’ve ever driven, and I love it.

The LYRIQ is an excellent vehicle.

The LYRIQ is an excellent vehicle. I would recommend it to anyone getting a car. I have had mine for about 1500 miles and I love it. There is one thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars. When I backup, sometimes the collision prevention system engages and the car will stop me for no discernible reason .

Great car.

Great car. You just have to manage your charging. We have saved thousands of dollars in gas fuel cost. Electric bill only went up about $30/month. Level 2 home charging is a must. Great handling and acceleration.

Probably the most attractive car I’ve ever owned.

Probably the most attractive car I’ve ever owned. So far I am enjoying not frequenting the gas stations and starting my day with a “full tank”

Early software issues have been resolved.

Early software issues have been resolved. The Lyriq is a wonderful comfort car. Smooth ride, extremely quiet with good handling. This is not a sports car it’s a stress free car. Supercruise is the best autonomous driving software currently available. True hands free driving. The best value in the luxury segment.

Reliability and technical issues with the car: - 12v

Reliability and technical issues with the car: - 12v battery going out making the car unusable - Frequent auto braking, even at highway speeds, even when the roads were empty and the weather was clear. Auto braking on highways ALL the time - All connectivity and UI software went out on day 2 of owning the car – went back to the shop for a week - The driver interface electronics went out multiple times, and the “computer unit” had to be replaced - Surround cameras kept going dark (completely black) and had to be replaced 4 times - Video processing computer had to be replaced for causing multiple computing errors that would make the car apply auto braking ALL THE TIME - Front proximity sensors never worked, had to be replaced multiple times - The notification chime volume is so loud it startles you while driving - it is unsafe Build quality issues: - Driver side door started sagging and letting air and rain in the cabin within 3 weeks of owning the car. Was fixed by a auto body shop under warranty - The interior screen (the big curved one) got loose and would rattle every time I went over the smallest of bumps – the dealership had to take it out and stuff the joints with foam! This fix lasted for a few weeks, and it was loose again - The head rests on the front seats would rattle - The chrome trim around the center island got loose and rattles - The entire center island started sagging. Had to be removed and reattached after tightening some bolts at the end/ back - Charging Port door started sagging in a few months – creating wind noise and letting in water to the charging port every time it rained (safety issue?) - Interior paneling under the “jewel drawer” came loose and falling off - Rails on which the moon roof cover rolls came lose and started rattling - Rear view mirror loose and rattling - The AC blower direction is so off that you never get comfortable on a warm (not hot - just warm) day - The headrests pushing the head forward and never letting you get comfortable

It’s beautiful, great ride, good pick up, quiet ride, very comfortable. It’s been towed 3 times in 8 months because it wouldn’t start due to a problem with the 12volt battery. Reliability is poor.
