2017 Cadillac XT5 consumer reviews

We purchased the XT5 about 3 months ago. We have driven Cadillacs for the past 20 years and have owned several different models. The past two were the SRX which at that point had been our favorite due to its size and also the comfort. We had a few reservations when we purchased the XT5 wondering if it would be as enjoyable to own as the SRX. It took a couple of months to come to the conclusion that it was in the same class as the SRX or even better. I would recommend the XT5 to anyone in the mid size SUV market.

Rides smooth as air, roomy and luxurious. The heated seats and steering wheel are awesome. Car has settings for 4 drivers, so we don?t have to reset each time another family member drives. Just press your setting, and the car adjusts mirrors and seats. WiFi and voice activated controls are a plus.

We are so pleased with our 2017 Cadillac XT5. It is so well-engineered it is a dream to drive. It will perfectly parallel park itself, gets great gas mileage, and is a dream to drive. It has eight gears to improve gas mileage and is green friendly. The instrument panel information is projected to the windshield so you never have to take your eyes off the road to try and find information on the instrument panel. It has the option of four wheel drive, and is so beautifully designed, it turns heads wherever we go. The sun roof continues over the rear passenger seats, which gives everyone a great view of nearby scenery. The comfort is unbelievable it is difficult not to imagine being in your favorite chair in your own home. Robert Saenz, our personal Representative, left no stone unturned in making certain every single item we requested was on our vehicle and worked perfectly. He is there for the smallest question we may have. We couldn't be happier that we chose the 2017 Cadillac XT5, For us, it is the perfect vehicle. It is an amazing well-engineered vehicle and must be driven to be fully appreciated. But, don't ask to drive ours! We are gone on our first trip and loving every mile!

I am 5 feet 2 inches. The seat is extended without the additional extension and makes my legs go numb. It is a very rough ride next to the 2016 XRS I owned and the seat is very uncomfortable. It is very rough at start and stops. Gas mileage is not good. I feel a lot was taken out of this compared to the 2016. The door storage is not wide but deep. Not helpful. I miss the 2 stage counsel and there is no opening in the back seat counsel other than the cup holders. I always used that for my grandchildren's food. Very dissapointed in this XT5. Also, if my foot is on the floor boards only my toes reach the brake pedal. I would get rid of it in a minute if I ould!

Prior owner of a 2012 SRX considered moving to an XT5 although the seats were uncomfortable, no real cushion, really hard. Not much improvement over the 2012. Other new features comfort, space and leg room in the back seat are about the same. Recommendation would depend on the need of the individual purchasing it. It's not a vehicle for comfort.

This vehicle is outstanding. So far, so good. This is my 3rd Cadillac from Sarant Cadillac, in New York, and 6th overall. Been dealing with Marc R, for several years now, and he makes it very easy to deal with the process, as we we keep it very simple. The Service is excellent, and the Advisor's are very attentive to the needs of their customers. I have found, in dealing with any Service Department or Sales staff, that thesecret to a good relationship with any dealership is communication. I'm not shy about expressing my needs, and wants. They have answered in kind, by keeping me well informed as to any ongoing problems or issues. Since I never have a major issue, I only get to see the service folks, on the days that routine maintenance is required.

This car was an excellent choice for my Wife. It has plenty?s of room, plenty of power on the open road and handles very well.

The xt5 has a much cleaner front panel and less buttons and the accesory panel is more user friendly and easier to control. Overall it is much improved over the srx more roomy. Great value and safety features for the dollars per dollar invested.

It is the one care that I have been looking for. It has all the future I wants. It is exclent Smoth care . Fun to vdrive.
