Excellent Vehicle!

The XT5 is comfortable, useful, and has all the latest safety and technology features. Our entire family of five, plus luggage, fits comfortably inside the roomy interior. The air conditioning functions well even in the heat of a desert Summer. We are averaging well over 22 miles per gallon around town. We have had no mechanical issues.

Excellent luxury mid-size SUV

We own a XT5 and GLC 300. The XT5 has a much better infotainment system that is easier to use than GLC300. XT5 has a more comfortable ride while GLC has the sport ride. GLC has edge in the sound system. The XT5 interior quality is better than GLC - real leather and not faux leather. Both are equally quiet on the road. XT has more rear leg room. I also think the XT5 looks better than the GLC. I like both cars but prefer XT5 for long trips for the comfort.

Drives great but wind noise at speed from sunroof.

Exterior is Crystal White Tricoat, Interior excellent, Cirrus. My Wife is very happy with her choice except wind noise. Lots of electronic equipment to learn.

1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration

Open the door at night and enter as the seat envelops you like a glove, the blue LCD displays and accent lighting wakes up as the car "comes alive" before you can push the start button you realize it's not just about the destination but the journey that will take you there and the knowledge that you've already arrived.

Awesome XT5

We purchased the 2017 Cadillac XT5 and this car is awesome. The ride is comfortable the safety features are the best; lane departure warning where it gives a small pull to the wheel back into your lane if the signal is not on. Blind spot warming. Automatic high beams great for when in traffic no more constantly turning them on and off, it does that automatically now. Adaptive cruise control. It even parallel parks itself.

Well no problems with mine so far

No problems with mine mechanically so far, but it takes a while to learn all the features of my Platinum Model the manual is about 400 pages and it's a little involved because most of the systems are touch screen menus. Needed to meet need of tall and short person huge range of adjust-ability. Ac is cold, ride is quiet. It gets up there in price. Mine didn't have a spare tire comes with air sealer instead; not good for sidewall or certain flats, but it was an option if you order one. I would prefer an option to turn off auto start stop and have smaller wheels with more tire but not an option. More like an executive car than suv.
