2017 Cadillac XT5 consumer reviews

Although I miss simple things, as a CD player, I really like the performance and interior upgrades. The XT5 is smooth, comfortable, and has the space wee need.

I am 74 yrs. old and have owned many cars in my lifetime. All were General Motors from Oldsmobiles, Buicks, Pontiacs and Cadillacs. The ride comfort has gotten better and better. The styling has gotten sleeker and always have to take a second look. Most importantly is the confidence a driver has for the dependability in the name Cadillac.

I had my 2017 xt5 for only 8 months before I got rid of it. Certified Used with few miles at time of purchase. I simply could not stand the auto stop start feature. SO ANNOYING. The car would literally stop and crank back up at least 4 times going through a drive thru and even inching forward in a parking spot it would turn off and recrank. Won?t let you disable it. Also there was a loud rattle in the right rear passenger seat which the service dept tried 3 times to fix without success. At the time of the most recent visit the CUE screen had gone black and the controls didn?t work. It was toast. Wish I had researched before buying. Other owners have had the rattle in the back and the CUE system is a known problem. with the crazy stop start issue, which I never got used to and was tired of explaining to my startled passengers, I?d had it. Very disappointed.

I would love it if they could get it to stop making so many noises sounds like marbles in the hubcaps but there?s no hubcaps feels like the front end and the whole underneath of the car is going to fall apart very embarrassing especially when I pull up at a gas station or in a parking lot people say what is wrong with that car I have had it at the dealership 12x?s

Comfortable looks good but it is the most embarrassing vehicle I?ve ever owned drive down the road sounds like marbles rolling around hit a bump sounds like Carr just fell apart krinks more than me and I?m 65!!!

This car is amazing! It drives you! So many features it?s hard to list but mainly wanted a quiet, comfortable ride. This does it for us!

This car meets all my needs. I am a realtor and sometimes need a truck to hall signs, open house stuff and home staging items. Works great for me and easy for customers to get in and out. Sits higher than the sedan I drove for previous 50 years, don't think I will ever go back to a sedan...perhaps that is why some have stopped manufacturing same.

She is like riding on the ground hit a bump you go flying sounds like marbles as you drive or stones in the hubcaps but there are no hubcaps horrible

I drove the car regularly as a rental. I knew the car well before I purchased it. It's a pleasure to own it and drive it regularly.
