Best Truck Ever

I bought this 96 Chev Mark III Black PU in Jan of 1997 new and sold it in 2015 with only 88,000 miles on it. In all those years, I was never happier. Went thru two wrecks, one almost totaled and it saved me and my passenger. It was beautiful with the Mark III added. Inside and outside just beautiful. Replaced tires, plugs, water pump, windshield, brakes, plus my regular oil changes in all those years. Always kept in garage so paint job was shiny and beautiful. Cried when I sold it but got old and needed an automatic shift due to arthritis. Chevrolet makes a fine truck, just everything worked fine on it, as it was a 6 cyl. and gas mileage was good, engine was no problem ever. It was great for hauling lumber, and furniture, as I moved lots of times. Also my german shepherd rode with me everywhere I went in it. It served me well and I was sad to see it go. Still have my memories.

Best truck I have ever owned

I love my truck, extended cab 3 door short bed with the Vortec 5.7 (350) z71 with push button 4x4. 10 bolt limited slip, 3:42 gearing, 33 inch mud terrains and average about 18 highway. The only complaint I have is the dash mounted cup holder, especially when the heat is blowing on a cold drink. This truck will literally run forever and if it doesn't then I will drive it til it dies then probably fix it and do it all again. ~Bowtie til I die~

Most reliable truck I've ever owned

Great truck, Bluetooth stereo system tinted windows lift kit, new transmission and engine Absolutely nothing can stop this bad not from running, absolutely beautiful truck

Very Strong Engine

This truck provides great help when transporting thing and also to move boats not only that the engine has an upgraded intake and pulls like crazy honestly the mileage does not make it all that bad

Second most reliably truck

Love it Wish i never lost it ! I love my 1994 chevy Silverado step side with 4.3 liter ! Best truck & engine i ever owned

Never had a problem with this vehicle

Tons of room in the front and back. It was very reliable vehicle. it would always start up in the cold. rides very smoothly. has power when you need it.

It gets the job done

My first truck, 5.0(305) Vortec, not gonna lie its pretty gutless. It gets about what you would expect milage wise with gas, probably better than me being that I drive like I stole it. Even still it always starts up for me even when it had an almost dead battery. Now as a daily driver its not the most economical but its not horrible, when it comes to truck stuff not gonna lie its kind of horrible. I have the Z71 package if it makes a difference but it sags as much with me and my buddy both around 200lbs as my dads 08 1500 with a 4000lb trailer, I hooked up a camper which was around 6000lbs (supposed to have a 6500lb capacity) and i thought the wheels were going to come off the ground. If you're going to do a lot of hauling I don't recommend it, if you're going to do the occasional landscape project, or tow a little boat it should do fine.

A Truck with Character

I bought this primarily to pull a RV camper. Camper is sold but I still have this truck and will probably keep it forever. Had 72K miles on it when I got it in 2005, Now it has 92K So far problems: Water pump; Ball joint and some other front end parts; brakes; tires; windshield; driver's side inside door handle (twice) and recently the expensive fuel pump that is in the gas tank. Still it is VERY comfortable to drive and rides like a car, really. It has not lost any value since I bought it! Amazing! It sets in the garage with a nice coat of wax and doesn't get very much use but when you need a truck, you need a truck!

it's GREAT Truck last forever W/ regular maintenance Alignment, tune ups ,etc. is chipper than fixing

Good Truck but ain't most chevys

Good Truck but ain't most chevys. I like the roominess power of V8 and rides. Turning radius in not great buy hey its an extended cab.
