best car ive had

by Lil Slim from Dallas,NC on Sat Jul 03 2010

The 95 cavalier is awesome on gas, durable, and can still manage to keep up with the newer cars. This would be a great first car or a car to last. But overall this car is one of the best

works like a mule

by Chevyman from midwest IL on Tue Nov 16 2010

do you need very potential engine? yes, good gas mileage? 27- 32 very good , cling on the road? yes. i have 1996 cavalier and it is the same as 1995, my advice , buy it , enjoy it, keep it, then sell it later as classic car.

Good Car To Get Around To In

by CarGuy97 from Milledgeville, GA on Sun Nov 20 2011

The car is decently fast. Interior build quality is average, but good for a car of this age. The 2.2 engine is very good on gas. Engine had to be replaced at 160,000 miles.

Our Take on the 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier

CHEAP THRILLS are seen as passing fancies, low-life enjoyment. Idisagree. I've driven the 1995 Cavalier Z24 coupe.

The Z24 is a primo econohot -- a hot little car that's inexpensiveto buy and maintain. It's my kind of car.

That surprises people who assume that, because I'm an auto writer,I'd be willing to spend big bucks on the fanciest car possible. Theyjust don't get it.

To me driving is fun. Give me a good car that can kick butt on theopen road, and I'm happy. Give me a good car that can do that withoutcosting me one cent more than I need to pay, and I'm happier still.

Give me the Z24 or something like it. I'm not looking for prestige.I want reliable, durable, cost-efficient pleasure. The Z24... Read More
