Great all-round pick-up
Bought the 3.6 liter, short box crew, WT, to pull a 4,000 lb, dry weight travel trailer. It does a good job of hauling at 55 mph; motor labors and gets more thirsty at higher speed. Fuel economy with no load, matches what I got with my RAV4, V6. I have 8,000 miles on it with no issues at all. Priced well below a Tacoma and way more comfortable seating as well; Tacoma was too narrow for two people; kept banging shoulders on test ride. I can recommend the Colorado and would buy again.

It handles perfect and looks to match! Go get one you won't regret it! Go for the rally sport bars as it really makes the truck.

My 7th GM truck, and one of the best.
I've owned seven different trucks since I started driving a few thousand years ago, and the latest member of the fleet is my 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2. After owning several Jeeps, and dealing with various minor and major reliability issues, I decided to switch from shopping for a Rubicon and traded my Grand Cherokee Trailhawk in for a new ZR2 crew cab with the 3.6 gas engine and the eight speed transmission. Like the Trailhawk; the ZR2 is a special animal; it's unique suspension and front & rear locking differentials give this truck superior handling capabilities and great performance both on and off-road. The optional Turbodiesel "Baby Duramax" is super for low-speed rock crawling and outstanding highway mileage, but I opted to go for the 3.6L gas engine because of it's better horsepower rating and it's superior fun factor on sand and street (it's quite fast!). The ZR2 gets lots of positive comments on the trail and at the gas pump, where folks always want to know what it is and how it works off-road. I've travelled over 25K miles on and off-road in mine, and I'm still digging the luxurious cabin, great handling and sharp looks. Chevy did a great job with this second iteration of the iconic ZR2, and I'm looking forward to owning mine for years to come.

Very reliable
It has great leg room in the front and back. The ride has been very smooth with little to no noise front the outside and the mileage is much better than I thought it would be.

third gm vehicle
I wrecked a 1998 Chevy s10 that I drove >20 years the GMC before that for 15 so I was looking for something that was comfortable to drive and had enough power to tow a trailer. I settled on a Z71 with a v6 long bed crew cab. I love the way this truck feels on the highway. Only done a few off road drives but the 4x4 mode was easy to figure out. The MYlink has quite a learning curve and some things do not work as they should. But the sound system is great and easy to pair to bluetooth. Coming to Northern CA from Monterey I got 21mpg. and that was with the always nightmare north bay traffic.
