Just right for commuting not bad for trips!

Corners faster than most. Very quiet inside. Great dealership. I love the made in America aspect. Alot of power from a 1.4 Liter engine. Will go fast enough to get tickets and give heart attacks...all while giving 40 mpg economy. Air conditioner zaps a mpg or so. So does driving over 70 mph. Climbs steep hills and passes with ease. ECO version w auto ROCKS!!

Chevy Cruze Eco

I test drove this car a few months back and loved it. I didn't buy then because I wanted the ECO and they were not in stock. I am glad I waited. I have had the car for 1 month and I love everything about it. I average 40-45 mpg with auto trans. Thanks Chevy!!!

Its a GM Mercedes !

When I learned that GM was offering the Cruze which has been in Europe for 2 years and undergone 4 million miles of testing I traded my 2006 Mercedes C 230 immediately. Do I feel safe with 10 airbags ? Yes ! Do I get 44 MPG hIghway with my ECO version ? Not yet , but I'm averaging 40 ! Do my Nerd kids love the My Chevy AP AND THE usb port ? Duh ! Whats not to love ? Am I enjoying the Wide Track that emulates a larger vehicle ? Yes ! Does the wife love the durable French Stitching ? Yes again ! Is it quick ? My Turbo Eco is two cars in one 130 MPH or 60 MPH and 40 MPG . Thank you Obama , thank you GM , Thank you AMERICA !

Best Car EVER

I was looking at a 2010 VW Jetta TDI because of the fuel economy and performance. A friend of mine recommended the Cruze. I told him there was no way I was going to buy a Chevy over a German car. Well I started researching and found the reviews to help me change my mind. After test driving one I simply had to convince my wife. This car really won me over; although I wouldn't consider or recommend any other General Motors auto I love this car. From the soft leather seat to the generous feature set for this class of car and price points I am completely satisfied with the luxury, economy, and bells and whistles.

mikescruzin

steering is tight and sure. seats are supportive and comfortable. entering highways no problem getting up to speed. passing gear lags a little until turbo kicks in.early start revs about 2K until warm, then settles down. have gotten "over the shoulder" looks from drivers of Chrysler 300's ( my RS package) ---WOW! very nice car. Recall did not turn up any problems.

Great Compact with room

We decided that we didn't need to be a two pickup truck family anymore. We decided to lease a Chevy Cruze LT1. This is a great compact car with all the bells and whistles. It has great head room unlike other compacts, a plus for my husband when he is a passenger or gets to drive it. It has get up and go. The value we got for the price was fair. I am a Chevy girl through and through and even though it was difficult to give up my Silverado this car made it worth it.

A lot of car for the money

The Cruze is the 1st small car we have owned in well over a decade. It feels like a larger car and hold our family comfortably. Only wish it had better arm rests for long drives.

Best in Class!

This car is the absolute best car in its class. I would even place it in a class above. The fit and finish are excellent and the quality of materials are the best you will find in this class. I'm not sure what the previous reviwer meant by drive a Camry and you will see the difference but I had to laugh cause we own a brand new one that is already rattling. The interior trim pieces look like they were put together by kids. Take the Cruze out for a drive and you will feel and see the difference in quality. She was right in comparing it to CAMRY cause thats where it belongs. In a class above.

Test drove the ECO model

I'm in the process of buying a new car and when I saw the chevy cruze I thought it was a very pretty car with a nice interior/exterior for the money. I laughed at it as soon as I drove out of the lot. Seriously, I laughed. Drive this car before you decide to fall in love with it. Actually, drive the toyota camry of almost equal value, then drive this car. You will laugh too. Very rough ride. I could feel the gears shifting. Just horrible. You will grow old before it gets you from 0 to 60. Pretty car, nothing else.

Love it!

Corners beautifully, comfortable for passenger & driver. I find the passenger seat belt tough to fasten at times. Overall mpg is pretty close to the sticker estimate, but we are still in that break-in period
