2017 Chevrolet Cruze consumer reviews

Ok, I picked a 2017 Cruze Diesel with the 6 speed manual transmission for a specific reason. My wife drives around 100 miles a day, and so the less fuel we use, the better. It advertises 52 mpg according to the EPA, and according to most reviews, they say its pretty accurate. I bought mine in Alabama, and drove it over 1000 miles home. I fueled up twice. Did I need to? No. I used 15 gallons of fuel on that trip, resulting in 62 mpg on one leg, and 68 on the other. I fueled up because I couldnt sit any longer, and the "E" on the fuel gauge was still a long ways away. How does it drive? Just fine. Mine has a little drone from the engine at highway speeds, but the more you drive it, the less you notice it. The controls all seem to make sense, and it coasts......forever it seems. This is huge when driving for economy. The kinetic blue is a nice color, and unfortunately difficult to find. It seems most of these things are painted silver, black, grey, or white. The 2017 diesel actually has a spare tire, which caught me off guard since the previous years put the DEF tank in the spare tire well instead, and I hadn't found any reference to it being changed. If you're one who wants to have a spare set of separate winter tires, or want to put be rims, expect for every place you look to have no idea of the correct lug pattern, as its different than the gas cruze. Also dont be surprised when you can only find the oil filters online or at dealerships. The biggest problem I've found about this car is that there arent enough of them, not enough people know about them, and the relative lack of support because of the above.

A lot more space then expected. Seats 5 comfortably. Runs smooth and looks very classy. Will definitely recommend this car.

I feel like this car was made for me! Not having to dig through my bag to find my keys, and being able to start it without having the keys in my hand. I ended up getting two different packages on my car: fog lights (which I haven't been able to try out yet), and the sensors on the sides and back of the car to let me know someone is in my blind spot. Absolutely love it! Best car I've ever owned!!

I can honestly say this is the best vehicle that I have owned . Great purchase . This was definitely a move up for me and at a really good price. It's a four door and it looks great. Lot of tech inside that really helps keep your eyes on the road.

It is easy to love this affordable car. So many features and easy on the pocketbook. Back up camera, wifi, cruise, heated seats, onstar, Sirius Xm, Bluetooth, power everything, for $300 a month!

This car handles well, smooth ride. I wish it had a little more get up when excelerating. I have the LS model and I wish it came with cruise control that's probably the only big complaint. It's a great car but I think it should come with more for the price.

I went from a 2011 Ford Escape to a 2017 Chevy Cruze. From the get go I was worried about space. My Ford Escape had lots of space and I liked sitting a little higher up in an SUV. There is nothing in the Escape that I miss now. I LOVE my Cruze. It?s spacious, and very cool! All the bells and whistles and LARGE dog approved. I?m so happy I don?t regret my choice.
