I have 29xxx miles on my 2013 awd 4 cyl, I have not had one issue with the car, The AWD is great in the snow if you turn the stabilitrack off ( hold the traction control button for a few sec) I would rather drive it during a snowstorm than my suburban, I get 25-27 mpg average. I am 6'2'' and have plenty of room in both the front and back seat. after adding the cross bars up top on the roof rack and now have a Thule space box and can fit the whole family in for a trip to Michigan.

In the past 10yrs I have owned a Ford Expedition, Dodge Nitro and now a 2014 Equinox. Let me just say that room wise, Chevy has hit it out of the park! I stand 6'6" and the Expedition never had the leg room one would expect for a SUV that large, the Nitro was cramped, but because it got better gas mileage, I settled for it.. This time I went to the auto show, sat in all kinds of SUV's and the Equinox had some serious legroom! with the drivers seat all way back I have room! Even the passenger side was comfortable for a guy my size. And still room in the back seat for adults. The adjustable back seat and reclining back seat are interesting concepts, I have been averaging 29mph with my AWD 4 cylinder. One thing is, because I got the 4 cylinder, I can't tow much, but the only thing I would be towing is the lawn tractor or the motorcycle. Along with the hands free phone, and being able to pair my phone to the suv and stream Pandora or play my phone's MP3's ..that is great for my daily commute.. or driving long distances.. Chevy, in my humble opinion has knocked this one out of the park!

About 10k miles, mostly highway. I'm a big guy and I'm very comfortable in this car. Bought a plain Jane 4 cyl, and, gets 25 to 30 mpg. (Awd) the 4 banger is a bit wheezy. If I were dealing with freeways in a big city or the rocky Mts I would get the 6, but for us the 4 is fine. Basic model has all the features most people would ever need. Price was great for this class. So far not one problem. Car was made in spring hill ten plant. They seem to have less problems than cars from Canada.

Purchased a 2014 LT model last fall and have enjoyed outstanding performance. The car is quiet, smooth and the IntelliLink system provides loads of entertainment, thanks, in part to SiriusXM Radio, Pandora, voice-recognition, etc. I also love the remote start system, OnStar and theater lighting. My only issue is a small one: When decelerating, the tranny lurches a bit at 32mph -- as if someone tapped their foot on the brake. Dealer says this is normal and won't result in any reliability issues. I consider this a minor thing, and it's the only issue I have to deal with with this car, I'll be a happy owner.

I bought I new 2014, 2.4ltr Chev equniox in Dec 2013. Mine visited the dealer 11 times with electrical issues. I had issues with sound control models, stereo issues, microphone issues, notice cancelation modules and my car shut off two times when I was driving on the highway. GM Canada was impossible to deal with. Horrible horrible customer service. GM bought my Vechicle back after I was forced to go to the media.

Had the top of the line 2012 CR-V and the Equinox beats it hands down for comfort and the added extras. The GPS on the honda was described by reviewers as basic and compared to the Equinox it sure was. Having the digital speedometer which changes to MPH or KPH is very handy and not available on the CR-V ( is on the basic civic figure that out ) Mileage seems on par to the CR-V but my Eqinox is only front wheel drive compared to AWD on the honda. Overall I will take the Equinox any day and it's several thousand cheaper and better equipted.

I have the LTZ AWD 2.4L and love it. No Hwy trips yet but in the city I get 22mpg. The navigation is easy to use but was pricey. The lumbar support was a big plus in comfort. Also love being able to set the memory for 2 drivers and 2 passenger settings. Mine did come with the panel that covers the space between the seat and storage area. (Adds more storage space.) Pushing the back seat forward seems to take more effort than it should and can only be done while standing outside of the car. When all the way back there is an amazing amount of leg room. Plenty of leg and head room.

I have just purchased my second Equinox LTZ, my first one being a 2010 model. GM decided to eliminate the floor panel for 2014 which covers an indentation in the floor that prevents objects from falling into. It looks unfinished as the brackets are still there for the panel installation.
