The interior of car feels cheap and looks the same with the styling. The dash control panel is too small and lacks storage after adding the Waze app. The car drive is sluggish at best and not sturdy. Rear lift gate opens automatically whether you it to or not.

My new 2026 Equinox LT is not the car my 2023 was.
My new 2026 Equinox LT is not the car my 2023 was. They replaced the electric driver seat with a manual seat like you find in cheap rental cars. The rear liftgate is now manual. No more button to push on the drivers door to raise and lower the lid and no more button on the gate to lower it either. A real cost savings to GM but a real pain for owners. My 2023 came with Michelin 80,000 mile tires. I drove it 85,000 miles and only replaced the tires at 80,800 miles. The cheap Mexican Firestone Destination HLTs on the new one have no mileage warranty at all and Firestone says customers report about 40,000 miles. Never heard of this stuff but thank you GM-Mexico. This will all reduce the value of this car when I trade it of course. I got it new today, July 22, 2026 and will be returning it tomorrow morning since the rear gate doesn;t lock when you lock the doors, as it should, and it pulls radically to the right. Unbelievably out of alignment for a car with 6 miles on it. This care has many more cute features for a kid who likes computer stuff, but a solid value it is not for anyone who knows anything about cars. I loved my 2023 compared to this one.

The Equinox is a nice SUV, that can be fully loaded and
The Equinox is a nice SUV, that can be fully loaded and still not break the bank. My Equinox has full power, A/C & heated seats, sunroof with a fully, customizable, large display panel. The rear seats are also heated and comfortable to ride in with plenty of room. The heated steering wheel wraps up the luxury. The engine is a little anemic with a 1.5l turbo and FWD with the CVT transmission. With one person, it is okay, but as you add people, the engine bogs down. However, the mpg whether loaded or not are fantastic with my average of 26mpg consistently. The ride is very comfortable and it competes with many luxury brands for comfort and ride. The design and sleek front end make it a very attractive drive. I would say that if you are looking for a fully appointed vehicle in the crossover size SUVs that won’t break the bank, check out the Equinox. Whether a daily driver, a small family or traveling, this platform provides high comfort and good quality that competes in this marketplace.

I bought an equnox 4 times and I love them all. How ever I would have liked a user manual. I ordered one and it cost $77 including tax and shipping.

Purchased a 2026 RS with all the Toys.
Purchased a 2026 RS with all the Toys. Love the larger size. This is my 3rd Equinox and so far it is the best overall. The only thing I haven't figured out is the windshield display which the salesman also couldn't do. When I get a chance I will figure it out.

just bought my 2026 equinox, not to happy with the snow
just bought my 2026 equinox, not to happy with the snow Ice mode vs having AWD , on thing I would change is getting the AWD that also has a off road package. I am also not happy with not being able to add roof racks after market. Do very much enjoy the added space unlike my 2018 equinox it is definitely bigger and more spacious. gas mileage is good . the interior is very nice and love the heated steering wheel as a standard now. overall I rate my 2026 a 4/5

I have had 4 Equinox vehicles and loved all of them.
I have had 4 Equinox vehicles and loved all of them. Wanted to get a 2026 but when I saw the gear shifter on the steering wheel where the windshield wipers usually are I said "no way". I hated it. After many years of driving, I was always used to having the wipers in that spot. I could never get used to this new idea! I would want to turn on wipers and then back up??? It is also a simple plastic that could break easily. I would buy a 2027 IF you put the gear shifter where it was before!

2026 chevy equinox vibration problems since new.
2026 chevy equinox vibration problems since new. Dealership replaced one tire and sent me on my way with the same problem twice. 2000 miles at highway speed i constantly have to correct the steering car pulls left steering wheel is slightly off center. Road crown and bumps make this car very unstable.

Heading to family for Thanksgiving 3 hours away and
Heading to family for Thanksgiving 3 hours away and leaving at 2 in the morning to miss traffic. 30 miles from home in the pitch dark the headlights go completely out.....no lights only the turn signals on a road that has no turnouts only side cliffs and mountains, the only lights that worked were the turn signals, so had to use them to get back home in the dark. no family Thanksgiving this year. I read that this is a inherent problem with this vehicle. so be aware. we Will take to the dealership tomorrow. it is a 2026 Equinox activ.
