ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS-AND TRANSMISSION BLEW UP

I LOVE this little car... but had to replace transmission at 80K. And all the switches in the car must have been made in CHINA. I'm CONSTANTLY ordering a switch or replacement button online. AND, the PLASTIC interior trim pieces i.e. the FAKE chrome plastic is very flimsy and cheap. The lights display on the radio occasionally pixels and goes out unless you jiggle volume knob. Other than that, the back is huge when both seats are put flat, the leather interior and seats are quite nice, it runs good and has a lot of power when getting on the freeway (2.4L) . As much as I love it, it requires constant tinkering and attention for one minor problem or another. The plastic on the headlights oxidizes frequently, despite cleaning and waxing. Probably would not buy another one... just built to chintzy.

HHR-SS

I ordered one the day they were announced and put 245,000 miles and just bought another with only 56, 000 miles from LW Automotive in Pittsburgh. Road & Track in 2009 said they will never make another car like the HHR-SS

Fun car to drive.

Fun peppy car that gets great gas mileage 30mph. Can easily park it anywhere. After 134000 minutes it never broke down or left me stranded.

Spacious

I like function or form, and this car provides a lot of functionality with clever form decisions. The 2.2L engine is a little underpowered for emergency "punches", but the overall value is worth a look.

Chevy HHR is just Fun to drive!

Chevy HHR is a small nimble & quick 4 cylinder 4-door with a modern redesign of the old 1949 Suburban. The HHR (High Head Room) is roomy for such a small SUV but gets up to 30mpg. I can just say it is a fun car to drive, easy to get around tight areas, and parking.

Very reliable car

This car does what it should. I have had it for 3 years and i have to admit it grew on me. I initially thought it was a grandmas car, which it probably still is but i have found it very reliable. I have gotten a straight pipe exhaust and it definitely helps give the car character. I would reccomend it to someone looking for a daily driver.

A very cool looking car.

Not only does this car look good but it's very roomy and comfortable. It drives exceptionally well and is the quietest car I've ever had.

Always wanted one.

I like the way this vehicle handles traffic.Sits up higher, than most cars, but does not get tossed around by tractor trailer rigs at highway speed. It has plenty of pick up speed. I can clearly see out from all sides, making driving in heavy traffic much easier.
