2010 Chevrolet HHR consumer reviews

Looked for a long time to find one with minimal mileage. Very happy so far. One concern is the front end bumping on rough roads. Will have that checked shortly. Got great mpg on first long trip, 29! Design of the fenders is a concern as front wheels kick up debris that hits rear fenders. Purchased primarily for business use hauling video equipment.

I bought this car used with 104,000 miles on it. I figured I wouldn?t get very much more time out of it. 2 1/2 years later it has 190,000 miles on it. I have given it regular oil changes and have only had to buy one new set of tires. It?s a basic car on the inside and exterior, but I am still getting 34 miles or more to a gallon. The exterior of the car only has one little dent on the hood and maybe a scratch or two on the doors. The biggest drawback is not having a automatic remote for the doors because for some reason The local Chevy dealership was not able to get it attached correctly. So I have to open up the Drivers door with the key in order to unlock anything else.

I purchased this vehicle for my business. I need to transport video production equipment and this vehicle meets my needs very well. The flat cargo area and large hatch make it a great vehicle. It is very stable on the road and a joy to drive.

It would be my work vehicle and pretty sure it would last as long as I needed it for. Just wish they would've made a all wheel drive for it.

I wish they did not stop making this car. I admit that for 5 of my 7 years ownership, I mostly drove highway miles I have 70k miles on this car and only had maintenance costs from the dealership.

My Chevy hhr is the one of the most reliable cars i have ever owned. It has 166300 and it doesn't look like its going to stop any time soon. I bought it with hail dents and i was going to get them fixed but now they sort of add character to the car. The air conditioning is great! I haven't changed the battery in six years and i just now am needing a new one. The inside could use a little better placement of cup holders but the bucket front seats keep you comfortable. Kids grow out of the back seat kind of quickly but the dogs love it. They can ride in the rear if i don't have anything back there or sit comfortably on the back seat. I love that the doors are high enough for the kiddos to not have to have a safety lock on their Windows. It also has those safety features like side air bags and anti lock brakes. I like the disc brakes in the back instead of drum brakes. It makes me feel, and the car look, more modern. This car has driven us 22000 per year and has started right up every time. It also has an auxiliary outlet for those college students. We actually bought it for our daughter to go to college in but college wasn't her thing so it became the family car. It gets great gas mileage. This car is for someone who appreciates a good engine and a reliable car. Not the most stylish but uber there for you.

I like this car but my friends and family tell me it's an old people car. The resale value isn't very good I probably drive it until it does.

I purchased this car as a first car. It was small enough to get used to driving big enough to have leg room both front and back seats and hold a lot of packages or bags

This car meets all my needs and expectations. Very good purchase and value for the money! Is built by Chevrolet and nice quality product and design. Very pleased!
