So far Its wonderful
I do not understand the people who do not like the handling of this car...You want a Sports Car buy one...this is not meant to be a street rod. The handling and comfort of this car is very much comparible to the Honda Civic I traded in for it. I do have to say I wanted one when they debuted in 2006 but the only thing that stopped me was the position of the power window buttons. I knew that Chevrolet would get their act together and place them on the drivers door where they should have been all along. This vehicle has been a dream to drive and I absolutely love the ground these four tires roll on.

Typical American car quality issues
I purchased my HHR in Sept of 2009 and currently have about 20,000 miles on it. So far the rear sealt belt retractor broke and had to be replaced, the ignition switch jammed on me and I had to disconnect the battery to shut it off. I found out this is a common problem with this car. The pins to hold in the plastic cover over the interior hatch were missing. The motor in the drivers side rear window is shot. I have used that window maybe a dozen times. Now the plastic cover on the back seat is coming loose and has to be replaced. First American car I bought in 15 years and will be the last. The GM corporate rep told me that its covered under my warranty and my response was that's great I have a warranty but that doesn't mean I want to keep seeing the inside of your service center constantly. So much for GM's mantra that they are building a better car. These are exactly the little quality control annoyance issues that made me switch to Japanese cars. Sorry GM you lost me as a customer.

Love it
We just traded our 2007 PT Cruiser for a 2010 HHR. It has so much more cargo space inside and so many more features. It is a much better choice for a family car. OnStar is an awesome feature. The Power Drivers seat is a must have. I am a shortie and he is tall. I can actually see over the top of the steering wheel! Very comfortable to drive & easy to park.

HHR 2010 LS
I just traded my Escape in for this car. It is my first Chevy and I love it. I have the 2.2 engine and it works well for me. I love the interior features, very nice and free Onstar for a year is a plus. Very happy and love the funky appeal of this car.

Traded a 2006 for a 2010
Just traded the 2006 with 47,000 miles for a new one. Loaded up price only increased $2000 in 4.5 years and more options were standard. When all said and done after trade, incentives, rebates, ect. my payments dropped $97.00 a month. What a bargain! 2006 was a very good vehicle so much so I bought a new one.

The best car for the money I spent ,performs great
The peppy 2.4 four cyl is the way to go . Great pulling power . The ride is comfortable . The handling is quick and responsive . No need to worry about head and leg room , you have plenty of it . I use it for my business and the 2LT shows a lot of class when pulling up to a customers house without draining your wallet . Big bang for the buck . If I had to I'd buy another for my wife . Large cargo area and even bigger when the seats go down for trips. The back up camera is a must ! Go and get one .
