You sit nice and high in this truck. It has a really quiet interior, which surprised me. The ride is surprisingly smooth for a vehicle with off-road capability (and tires.) Even my wife likes it!

?Beauty is in the eye of the beholder? and I think is really a beautiful pickup. Mine is white (non-Premium paint) with fore and aft body color, a nice choice over ?chrome? I think. The crew cab with short bed gives a roomy back seat even for tallish passengers and adequate cargo room in the short (68.5?) bed. The interior is five star all the way. My two previous pickups were the more expensive GMC Sierra LTZs and honestly this Silverado LTZ interior is every bit as comfortable and well appointed. Better in several ways than my GMCs. More modern technology certainly comes into play here but I did look carefully at the `17 GMC Sierra LTZ and the difference does seem more cosmetic than useful. The ride...oh my! for a truck that can haul a decent load in the short bed as well as tow over 10,000 lbs (optional trailer package) this is a lovely ride. Yes, on concrete expansion strips and pot holes it IS a truck...not teeth rattling but you feel the bumps. On a decent blacktop you are riding smooth as a baby?s fanny. As to value...it?s expensive. Around $55 K as mine was equipped with every safety option as well as the trailering package. A year end discount brought the price down to $49K...that?s still pretty pricy. Buy a 2018 and with taxes and dealer charges you?re going to hit $60K. As to expected reliability: I am hoping for average at best. Consumer Reports rate GM in general as about the poorest in reliability. While I take CR ? with a grain of salt? I suspect they might be right about GM reliably. However...having said that my 2003 Sierra LTZ Had very few problems. I took good care of maintaining everything and drove with a light foot. I?m hoping similar care will result in similar reliability. Initially my impression is a puzzling transmission (eight speed auto) that seems a little rough shifting at times, a quiet powerful engine (5.3 ltr Eco-drive) and decent local gas mileage (17.5 mpg) and nice ride, great interior and nice looking. I?d like to update this review in a year or so.

Very comfortable ride and roomy. Easy to drive and has excellent features including the acceleration. I constantly get compliments. So glad I went with my Chevy Silverado instead of anything else. Definitely recommend!!

This truck is super quiet inside.. with plenty of power.....the technology is impressive...great job Chevrolet !
