Best work truck I've ever owned

This truck had all the hauling capacity I needed. I could fill up the box with mulch, gravel, retaining wall block and still tow a heavy trailer.

Started failing mechanical 1 month from purchase

4 wheel drive went out. Rear end bearings went out. Very expensive to fix. I now own a large paperweight. Not sure what I will do now.

Good solid truck

Pulls a 3 horse slant load Trailer. Up to a 32 ft loaded cattle Trailer with no problem. Average about 14 mpg running empty

The Pull Anything Truck

Bought this truck in 2007 , I have found it to be very reliable but not quite up to the standards I have been used to in the older GM vehicles . Overall the truck seems tinny and fragile for a 1 ton truck . The ride quality is good for a 1 ton , but the leather bound bucket seats get quite uncomfortable after a full day of driving. I have had issues with the SRS (airbag) System at about 32K , headlight switch at 40K , front wheel bearing at 45K , steering shaft knock and worn out linkage at 60K

very reliable truck

Bought this truck brand new in 06 and has been very reliable. Has never been in the shop for repair with over 132,000 miles. I change the oil every 5000 and it barely burns any oil. One of the best trucks I have ever owned. You cant go wrong with truck.

worst truck ever owned

Bought the truck in 07 brand new. General tires gone at 20k miles. Started burning oil at 70K miles, GM says that it had normal oil usage?? Battery died, brakes gone, and now at 144K miles the transmission is out.
