I love my 2001 Suburban and wouldn’t trade it for any

I love my 2001 Suburban and wouldn’t trade it for any other vehicle. It is so spacious and comfortable not to mention how quiet it is. The barn doors?! Get out! They are the best! The engine is strong and handles well in the mountains. Even with 281,652 miles on it we have few problems. We’ve had to replace the transmission, starter, fuel pump… but that’s to be expected. My parents have a 2020 Suburban and I’d choose the 2001 over it every time. Just a great vehicle to own.

Very powerful and comfortable

Great tow vehicle for long over the road trips. Owned since 2004 with 39,000 miles. Now has 194000 miles. Thirsty... 8 mpg pulling and 10-11 without towing.

Amazing ride!!!!

This vehicle is by far the most comfortable, smooth riding truck I have ever owned. Its perfect for large families and traveling. I was concerned with the amount of money I would spend on gas but the ride and reliability of the truck makes it worth every penny!!!

Full size effort from a full size SUV

The Suburban 2500 is built on the Chevrolet HD chassis. It provides excellent towing power for a large SUV, while comfortably seating 8-9 passengers, with room for additional luggage in the cargo area. The only real negative is the MPG, but if you're shopping for a fuel efficient vehicle, then you won't appreciate what this vehicle delivers.

240k and still going strong!

There isn’t enough room to say it all here. It’s been a family vehicle, work vehicle, kitchen, limousine, mobile hotel room... a first car...everything! Reliable, easy to maintain and very versatile! It’s becomes part of the family.

Most Versatile Vehicle I Will Ever Own

The Suburban has many features that are very useful. The vehicle can haul cargo, carry eight adults, and tow even a double axle trailer. The power train from the engine, transmission, transfer case, etc are all amazing and nearly bulletproof. Driving experience is awesome as well. Zero road noise, tight steering, and smooth ride. Dealership maintenance is simple and not expensive. Family has owned the vehicle since new and currently has 150K. Will keep it forever.

One of the best vehicles I have ever owned !

I purchased my 01 suburban in 2008 , I can say I have had nothing wrong with it at all , I have put 3 new sets of tires on it and breaks about every year , I purchased it with just 41,321 miles on It , it currently has 242,347 miles on it and the rocker panels show it . But I can't complain one bit .

Reliable, comfortable transportation

Great for fitting the family, plus all the stuff, in for those long drives. Comfortable, smooth ride, with plenty of power for traffic, or towing.

Good family car

A big, sturdy car that we felt safe transporting our family in. Good size for my 3 kids, comfortable. Always ran well even with high mileage.
