Worst car I have owned

This vehicle constantly had mechanical issues. Check engine light, stabilitrak light, brake light always came on. In and out of the shop only to have more go wrong with it. I had a 2009 bought it with about 40,000 miles traded it in with 130,000 miles

GM really dropped the ball.

Life-long GM owner here. Owned a 2009 Traverse for 9 years. First 3+ years were great. Awesome cargo room to take family vacations. Very smooth ride. Handled our harsh WI winters with its AWD. But then the vehicle became more and more unreliable. Bad AC unit at 42,000 miles. Had to fight with GM to have them pay some of the repairs and my half still came out to $1100. AC stopped working again after the 90 day warranty expired. Lots of recall on this vehicle. Transmission died after 71,000 miles. Run, do not walk, away from this vehicle! Now the happy owner of a Hyundai

Most unreliable car I had!

I owned a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse LT, we bought it used when my daughter was about 6 months and my son 2 years old because I had always wanted one as my family car but once my husband bought it for me it was our WORST buy ever. We loved the inside had a DVD entertainment system, backup camera, sensors, BOSE speakers, leather seats with heating system, even turned on by itself with the remote, everything you could think of a family car having the Traverse had it. But it also had ALOT of mechanical problems. It was at the shop at least once a month every month or every 2 months. A month after buying it the Catalyc converter filters needed to be changed because the check engine light came on (cost around $3000 to get it fixed). Second, the transmission was not working properly, when running over 50 mph it would start lagging and we would have to wait for it to want to run, we got it checked out for this reason and they could not find the problem. Also, had to change about 4/5 sensors on different parts of the vehicle a couple times. Towards the end of the year, (the same year we bought it) the A/C started leaking inside the truck where we could smell the Coolant liquid inside.
