2024 Chevrolet Trax consumer reviews

I purchased a Blazer EV without carefully considering everything and ended up taking it back to the dealership in a week, so I was stuck trying to find something else on the lot to avoid completely losing my shirt. I ended up driving off with this piece of junk. I’ve only had it a month and I am already dreaming of the day I can get rid of it. It sits low to the ground but there’s a warning label on the visor that says it is a rollover risk. Everything about it feels flimsy and insubstantial. The weak engine sounds like a lawn mower. The poorly appointed interior feels cheap, hard, and uncomfortable. There is no redeeming value for this car save for its fuel economy, which is great because I plan to drive the thing as minimally as humanly possible. Every time I look at it I want to throw up. I’m going to do everything in my power to pay it off as soon as I can so I can get rid of it and buy an actual nice vehicle.

I think we must have a lemon. The windows work when they feel like it. One of the doors will not open, now the trunk will not open.Have taken it in for service multiple times. Seems to be a different thing all the time that will not open.

I haven't had any problems and find that the electronics are easy to work. Different dealers handle service..some are better. Choose wisely and shop around 📢

My 2012 Ford Escape basically became a money pit after only 83,000 miles. When I was looking for a new car, I spent so much time on the internet comparing cars. Since I haven't bought a new car in over 10 years, sticker shock doesn't come close to what I saw. I looked at every small SUV. When I saw the Trax, I went to my local Chevy dealer to road test a Trax. I fell in love with the car. I no longer need a big SUV so the Trax is perfect. I was shocked it has only three cylinders as I went from a V6 to a three cylinders. Love this car!

I purchased the 2024 Chevy Trax 2RS model in Fountain Blue color in March 2024. I am very impressed so far with the performance and comfort. The 2RS model comes with all the tech specs, sunroof and wireless charging, except for the driver side power seat. So far I'm averaging about 28mpg both city/highway. Interior is spacious and the 11 inch info touch screen is a nice add for the price. The cabin is quiet and the suspension ride and handling is superb. Overall, it's an awesome buy and you get a lot of the tech you don't get with other models. I highly recommend this vehicle for the price conscious buyer.

I preordered this vehicle in 2023 october. I received it everything was fine until the screen started messing up.Screen/radio will not turn off backup camera would stay on as I drove. Took it to the dealership and they did a system update. Secondly, Now the ac is not working keep in mind it is only 6 months old and is a new 2024. I took it again to the dealership and the evaporator seems to be the problem. It is now on backup order and waiting for it to be replaced. In my opinion I dont recommend this vehicle due to the problems it has already given me. I will soon get rid of it.

I got this in march 2024, it has been an amazing vehicle. The price, ride quality and gas mileage had been good. My only wish is that the gas tank size was bigger

I've owned many new and used vehicles, but the new Chevy Trax is above and beyond my favorite. It handles great, the 3 cyl. engine has plenty of pep for me. It's quiet, the technology is great, the inside looks stylish and I love the big screen on my Activ. I have had absolutely no problems with it and the gas mileage is great! I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone. I had to wait a month to get mine, as there weren't any to be found in the Cincinnati area. So glad I waited.

I purchased it a year ago and have nothing but problems since about 300 miles. The adaptive cruise shuts off for no reason, tells me that's it's temporarily unavailable or disengages. The apple car play was connected to my phone and displayed connected, yet it said no phones connected. The side detection system was having issue saying there was a vehicle there when there was no one around. It was telling me that my front camera was blocked even though it was clear. The cluster was going blank and not holding the requested settings. I have had it into the dealership on four different occasions for the same issue. I keep getting the runaround about it. The one positive is that it gets great gas mileage.

Purchased for a commuter and love it over 30 MPG. I find myself driving it more than my truck and even on road trips. Cant get a power drivers seat unless you get the active. wish I had the RS wheels. Incredible buy!!!
