Bought to replace a Cruze that was a real road warrior .
Bought to replace a Cruze that was a real road warrior . 2025 Trax 3 cyl does 70 mph plus on trips with 3 adults in comfort . LS model had no rear hatch cover . Bought one off FB Marketplace for $10. Dealer wanted $235. Used the rubber floor mats from the old Cruze and snapped right into place on the Trax for the winter weather . Doing more frequent oil changes because of wet belt setup . Originally wanted a Buick Envista but felt the $21200 Trax was basically the same car for thousands less .

Bought my Trax new, after 2 weeks had to take into shop
Bought my Trax new, after 2 weeks had to take into shop problems with fuel system. 5 months later in shop again basically same problem. Took it back December and again needed yet more repairs but part out of stock and no estimated time when it would be in. I had enough so I traded it for a Hyundai. Lost thousands but had gone my limit with this car. This is my opinion but would NOT recommend.

Great car overall.
Great car overall. Could use a little more pep. But for what the car is intended, as a good gas mileage low priced car, it’s hard to beat.

I'm 6', 200#; adjustable seat (Activ) makes comfortable, more leg room in back than my previous drive (2013Terrain). 6-7 mpg better than previous; beating expected overall mpg by 1-2 mpg. Will see how FWD compares to AWD Terrain this winter season. So far, more than extremely pleased.

Cheap car.
Cheap car. Clunky transmission. 3 cyl motor is underpowered. It gets me there, but it's not luxury. A lot of plastic. I doubt it will last more than 8-10 years. Milage is great!!!

Considering it’s a 3 cylinder car, the performance
Considering it’s a 3 cylinder car, the performance exceeds expectations. If you’re looking for speed and power, you’ll be disappointed; it’s not designed for that. It’s a small SUV, designed for economical transportation and it doesn’t disappoint on that front. Very comfortable, handles great, great on gas, looks nice and even the base model has everything you need. I miss the push button start which is lacking on the base model, but not a huge issue, and no button on the remote to open the rear hatch is annoying too, but again, I’ve adjusted! Otherwise, you have to consider the low , very affordable price as a trade off. I love it! GM has a winner!
