good van but has some problems
It is a good van but it has fuel problem. The gas gauge show false amount of fuel you need to replace sensor or fuel pumps on this car. you also need to put in the correct type of gas or it can damage the fuel system.

Very roomy and plenty of power
Its a very stylish minivan. Seats are easily removed when needed. Lots of room with seating for seven. Plenty of walk through space. Comes with a powerful V6 engine that's roaring to go. Sliding doors on both sides.

Worst vehicle owned
I purchased this vehicle new. I had it converted due to I'm a quadriplegic. The conversation was done by Braun, and I had nothing but problems since I've owned it. I've never received any recall notices. Since I'm the original owner, do I still qualify for them?

Solid vehicle 7 passengers
No major problems with this car we drove it across the United States with no problems. Large Gas tank about 22 gallons. Great for hauling people or furniture.

8 1//2 years still runs strong
We bought our Uplander in 2008 with under 30k miles and drove it on a 7000 mile road trip across the country and back with a family of 7 (five kids). Carried all of us comfortably along with camping gear and personal gear. Now it has over 275k miles and wear and tear but the 3.9L engine still is strong, although has a little oil leak. Did need transmission work at about 150k miles, probably due to daily driving conditions against the strong Montana wind 35 miles a day the mechanic said. Used to drive it 70 miles a day round trip to work. Almost no other mechanical issues until last year or so when the high mileage showing wear on suspension, tie rods, etc. The front wheel drive and high ground clearance has been great for Montana winters. Only got stuck once that I recall. I feel Chevy knocked it out of the park with this one, but we did always do regular oil changes and routine maintenance, which probably helps a lot. Some little issues with interior but its roomy for passengers or for hauling furniture. I wish Chevy still made them.

Best vehicle
I bought my uplander new, it is now nearly 10 yrs old with 120,000 miles on it. Still runs like new. I don't know why others say theirs didn't last. Maybe because they didn't maintain it??? Hmmm. I travel a lot and I love having a rugged van that carries a lot of gear or people. I have been off the beaten path, driven in snow and ice, gone thru mud and my uplander proved to be a reliable vehicle every time. I plan on driving this van til it reaches 200,000 miles or longer.......we'll see. At any rate, this van is still going strong. Another well made vehicle by Chevrolet.

Dont buy
I've had so many problems with this van. Had to replace the water pump, harmonic balancer, fuel injector. Many more I can't remember. It was good up till 85,000 miles then turned to junk. This poor excuse for a GM product has no fuel filter, so if you get bad gas or dirt into your fuel tank it destroys the whole fuel system. 3rd row seat is not removable unless you are a body builder, and even then get a buddy to help. Fuel millage stinks. I got around 18mpg. Seems like I was always putting money into this. All the good reviews on this van must have been from low millage or people trying to sell theirs. This van was not built to last. Boo on you GM for putting this junk van out. Worst car I have ever owned. The end. Have a wonderful day. PS, don?t buy this van, let it rout in a junk yard somewhere.
