273 K and running strong!

Purchased my 2008 Aspen 2 years ago with 238 K miles on it. I paid $1000 I purchased it from a commercial pilot. H was the 2nd owner. He bought it in 2008. He took great care of the truck. He changed the oil religiously. I've continued his trend. It's now February 2024 and the truck has 273420 miles on it now and runs great I couldn't be happier. I'd say I've gotten my money's worth out of it.

We loved our Aspen/Durango

We loved our Aspen/Durango -- smooth, comfortable and refined, and it would actually take those large speed humps at 30mph without spilling a drop of your coffee. It never went to the dealer except for routine oil/filter changes.

It does everything that I've ever asked of it.

I bought my 2007 Chrysler Aspen Limited Hemi all wheel drive in May 2015 with 132,000 miles on it. It currently has 158,300 miles on it; the SUV burns no oil and shifts fine. I've towed 3 tons with it twice a short distance (under 30 miles with a few hills) and it handled the load wonderfully. Mechanically over the years, all I've had to replace is the MDS solenoids, water pump, alternator, brake pads, gas cap, battery, tires and a door lock actuator. I recently replaced the downstream oxygen sensors, air filter, fluid in both differentials, transfer case fluid and all 16 spark plugs just to tune the vehicle up and (truth be told) the vehicle still runs just as well as it did the day that I took it for a test drive. I don't have a garage (I do clean my vehicles but they liveoutside in my driveway) but I can say that I have almost zero body rust issues on the vehicle; with the exception of the bottoms of the door skins on the rear doors and the towing hitch. Although the fuel economy is not great, I do prefer driving my Aspen over driving my newer 2018 Ford F-150.

Great Vehicle!!

I have a 2007 Limited that has been an awesome vehicle. We have done nothing but change the oil, put brakes on it, and tires. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone. The truck also pulls a trailer very well.

Should of never bought

I think this SUV was poorly made and definitely alot of problems, electrical and with the air bags. I think this vehicle should be recalled due to all the issues of safety things that go wrong.

My favorite car ever

Its comfortable, nice looking and the V8 Hemi is my favorite, driving this car is so enjoyable. It's very roomy, I have 3 kids, one uses a wheelchair and everyone and every thing fits fine. Highly recommend

Best Best Best

Excellent handling, in tow or not. Mixed in German Tech (Joint venture with Benz) you can tell the way it performs. Best I've had. Wish they made new ones, I would buy I a heart beat. Willing to pay more then Yukon or Tahoe. No Ford.

Just keeps onn running. oil chages on every 3,000

Just keeps on running. Plenty power w/Hemi. Do not get 4.7, as it burns more fuel and less power.. Wish they made this model. Will buy one for sure. Trouble free car.

The hardest working, most reliable suv I've owned.

This car is powerhouse of an SUV in a beautifully designed compact package. This SUV outperforms it's competitors, Yukons, Suburbans, Expeditions, and the like. It consistantly gets 18mpg on the hwy and 16 around town. It was made in a time where the best of German engineering was infused into Chrysler. It is a shame they were only produced for 3 years. Its only because of this they don't share the notoriety of GMC's Yukon, Fird's Expedition, or Chevrolet's Suburban.
