Bought the car for $2500 in 2013 and I've driven it for the past four years. It's been pretty good for my personal needs. I had to have the breaks done last year (they were grinding) and gave it four new tires around the same time. Had some problems with the gear shift a couple of years ago, but it was an easy repair. Overall, the car has been great for me. I would not recommend it for a tall or wide person however. My 6'+ father and brothers have to squeeze themselves into it and are uncomfortable in the back seat. I'm 5'6 and it fits me perfectly. The storage space is great; the hatch and the removable shelf are two of my favorite features of the car. When I moved, I loved being able to put the back row of seats down and transport so much at once in such a compact vehicle.

This is a great car. We got it used and it is a little workhorse but the engine design stinks!! It is so compact that my father, who can work on and fix anything, and has traveled all over the world doing so won't work on it because you basically have to take the whole engine apart or out to get to anything. So over the years any repair we've had to have done has cost 3x's any of our other cars. If you buy one of these as a used car to save money you will end up breaking the bank in repairs which is a shame because it is great in every other way.

It met most of my needs, was reliable, has great heat/AC system, loved the sun roof, has an out of the way storage container under the front passenger seat.

It was a good first car, got me where i needed to go. Plenty room for everyone and was comfy. drove well and was a good size. The only down side was the blind spots.

So I bought a 02 PtCruiser I thought this was a Great and reliable car because of the pretty body style, the red colored dashboard, and nice leather seats, and I can't forget the sunroof. But I was WRONG Within 2 months of buying it I found out the car had a water pump problem and that isn't Cheap!! The car would try and overheat also I had to put antifreeze in the car weekly, The antifreeze hose needed replaced 6 months later,car wouldn't start one day because of the red antitheft light on had to pay locksmith to come recode the car and buy new key,The last problem was when i had to pay 380$ cash to get the car recoded Again this time by a Auto shop!! Because the vehicle kept shutting off .Like give me a brake already "good thing those (brakes) didn't give me a problem"! I couldn't keep putting money into this car especially since I had other bills!So if u want my opinion it's clear DONT buy this car at least not used it looks pretty but comes with lots of problems down the road....

I am enjoyed driving my 2002 Pt Cruiser. I have put new back stock on myself and has order the front struts that I will also be instilling myself so after all the repair and new parts are put on this car will be like a new car and will be ready to run at least ten more years.

looking to sell this as I am done with graduation, moving out state. Car in excellent condition. con's: has a small dent as shown in pics. (no other except that one). pro's: low miles. Cruise controls, ABS braking runs great, no mechanical work needed. tires with lot more thread on them. Engine run perfectly. no problem with heater and A/C. well maintained. oil changes on time can have history from pep boys and Midas new battery new break pads, rotors new wipers. comes with manufacturer donut. Clean title, no accident history in entire car life. Car READY to RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has leather, heated seats, sunroof, and power windows. Sits higher like an SUV but not too high with the gas mileage of a sedan.
