2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser consumer reviews

For the most part I love the PT Cruiser! Easy to drive and has lots of room in the interior! The only downside I have found is when doing maintenance on the car parts tend to be more expensive and labor is a lot more because it does not have any room to work under the hood as it's compact! But it's mostly a love!

This car is worth it's weight in gold. Lowest maintenance I have ever seen. It is really built to tow. Yes, it can tow two cars at one time, I did it. Keep the oil changed every 3000 miles, and you won't have any issues ever with this car. Use midgrade to premium fuel, and this car almost floats on air.....

I bought this in late 2018 for $2200 and have put another $2000 into it. The convertible top is in excellent condition, but is almost too heavy for me to put back up by myself. I might spend the money to fix the roof motor sometime in the future. The interior is in mint condition. I had a carport built to protect the canvas top and plan on keeping this car until Jesus comes back (God willing!) My daughter and grandchildren love riding around with the roof down! The royal blue color is gorgeous and the finish is in great shape!

The car is very functional as far as the interior goes. I'm not a huge fan of the design, but if you are into it, then it isn't a bad car.

Its an awesome family car. Great for trips. Oil change every 3000 miles and this car will run forever. This car is worth every penny spent.

I am the second owner of the car and I have been very pleased. It has served our family well. My daughter drove it through high school and it's our go-to car when one of our kids needs to drive. It has never broken down and, according to my mechanic, is in very good shape. At only 85,000 miles, it's an excellent value.

Bought this car brand new in 2005 for 15k. Gave it to a friend who needed a car for her college age daughter. We put 110k miles on it and I was still going strong. Probably spent around $1,500-$2,000 in maintenance and repairs (including) tires in the 13 years of ownership.

The 2.4L turbo from the SRT-4 IS AMAZING, coupled with a 5spd and the luxury of cruise, this is the perfect convertible. Room, styling, comforts, luxury, and the fastest actuating top to this day.

Excellent. It took two months of negotiating to get the "Right Price" but who buys a Convertible in the winter anyway.... ME!!!!

Most reliable car that I have owned. Like new, Has everything in it. Has good mileage. 33 mph. Large trunk and new tires.
