Fabulous car
I loved this car! My husband had it when we got married, after 3 years we were expecting a baby and needed a bigger vehicle, something with 4 doors...man I missed that car?

Bet you didn't know it even existed
One great unknown car. If you never knew anything about this car, check it out. Great handling, good gas economy, and an option list that will amaze you. 1982 was the peak performance and styling for this 4 cylinder hemi, and with the 5-spd manual transmission and all-wheel disk breaks was a pleasure to drive. The black exterior and black interior make this a real black beauty. One article stated. "...we like these Mitsubishi-built pillarless coupes but can go years without seeing one on the streets", I purchased my first one new in Nov of 1981 and drove it from Seattle to San Francisco with an average speed of 69 mph, when the speed limit was 55. AWESOME drive! Even in the winter in Seattle with snow, this car did amazing. You may criticize, that it's a Challenger import, popular hot rodding even stated the following; "But if something has been lost in 12 years, something has been gained. The 1982 Challenger can outhandle the 1970 Challenger hands down. Its brakes are superior, as its drivability." Again, the best performance car Chrysler had to offer in 1982, and bet you didn't even know it existed.
