Dodge Almost Got It Right......

I've owed a 2013 Dodge Dart Rallye 1.4L Multi-Air Turbo and DCCT transmission for a little over 5 months now and have driven a little over 8k miles. This car seems well made but the 1.4L turbo has a noticeable delay/lag. After 1k miles, I really started noticing and it became an annoyance. I've figured out how to drive it and found that it seems to operate better in manual mode when city driving. The styling and options are top notch. The fuel economy is satisfactory (24-27City; 32-38 highway). If Dodge would improve the turbo lag, they'd have a winner.

My first small car purchase.

This car has great styling inside and out. Love the leather seats. The 1.4L multi air turbo engine offers great performance with over 40mpg highway and well over 30 all around. The electronics with voice command and large viewing screen is a real plus. There are many built in options. All around this is a solid classy car that is fun to drive. People seem to really notice you on the street. Take a test drive and you will see what I mean.

Amazing Car from Dodge!!!

I've had my Dart Limited Ed for a month today and have enjoyed every second of driving it! On top of the gas mileage, which is currently at 34MPG, it is SUCH a sharp car. After driving an SUV, I never thought I would go back to a car, but I'm in love with this one. There is only one small downside. On the bottom of the car, there's a plastic bumper, and I always hit it leaving my driveway, which is not even steep. A few days ago, I barely tapped a parking bumper, and it ripped the plastic thing underneath. I'm pretty sure I'll have to have it replaced. Other than that small infraction, I love this car!!!!

Dart II SXT

So far, so good. Certainly one of the best cars I've ever owned. MPG is through the roof and performance is great. Love the 8X8 touch screen. Really fun to drive.

A relaxed drive

I traded a 2012 Accent for this car. So far I very much like this car!! The only problem I had was the forward main computer was broken. My DRL's never worked. Took 5 days. That aside, this is by far the most comfortable "compact" I have ever owned. In this car you set in the seats not on them. The stereo is great. Mileage on the SoCal freeways is around 27/28. Haven't taken it out on the open road yet but I have a 2000mi trip planed so hope to see that improve. Since the computer was replaced and re-Flashed the turbo lag is all but gone. My mileage would also improve if I could keep my foot out of the turbo. lol. Bottom line would I buy it again? You bet!!!!

New Dart Rallye

Recently purchased new Dart Rallye, 1.4 L Turbo with DDCT. I drive 100+ miles per day round trip commuting to work, 18 miles on county highways and 34 miles on rush hour interstate. I have had the car for two weeks with no issues and average 36 MPG on premium. The car is comfortable to my (240 pound) frame and controls are in easy reach. The manuals, printed and on disc, are helpful and relatively easy to use. I have the U Connect option and easily mated my phone. (I am not a blue tooth user so this was a first.) It is too soon to form definitive opinions but, so far, the Dart is everything I expected. The U Connect screen menus are easy to read and understand, with options clearly laid out. The car is responsive and corners nicely. This is not a dragster or high performance muscle car but acceleration is prompt with only the slightest turbo lag. Merging from short entrance ramps is easily accomplished.

Best car in its segment!

I've owned my Dart for a few months now, and so far, every day I drive it, it feels just like the first! I researched and test drove multiple competitive vehicles in the compact segment and the Dart definitely stood above the rest. The Dart definitely has character, which is something most compact sedans lack. The good: Fuel economy, interior/exterior design, power, comfort, storage places, entertainment system, ride. The not so good: Turbo lag in the 1.4L MultiAir under 3k RPMs. My Dart brings a smile on my face every time I see it. This car makes me look forward to driving!

Nice looking car

I own a 2005 VW Beetle. I wanted a 4 door car. I started looking around at a lot of makes and the Dodge Darts body style caught my eye,. I took a test drive and fell in love with it . I got the limited with leather seats and a lot of extras. I love the rear camera. I love everything about it.

The Most Fun You Can Have With 87 Octane

I was very hesitant to buy a car the first year it comes out, but I did a lot of research and knew exactly what I was looking for: fun to drive, great gas mileage, comfortable, and runs on regular gas. I did the math: a car that takes 91 octane is going to cost me $200-250 a year more than one that runs on regular. Not huge, but with gas already a big part of my budget, I was looking for ways to cut back. I shopped around and test drove some stiff competition: Ford Focus ST, Mazda Speed3, VW GTI, Mini CooperS, WRX. But they all take premium, and don't get as good gas mileage. I went with the 1.4 Turbo and manual transmission, recommended by the major review magazines. After four months, I'm very pleased with the car. The sporty look (and red color) also turns some heads. My only complaint is that the door handles tend to pinch your fingers on release - it really stings.
