One Owner

by Loves My Van from Detoit, Michigan on Sat Aug 09 2014

Twenty years, and 232,434 miles later, and it still runs great! Put the pedal to the metal, and it takes off like a rocket. I've been looking for a new vehicle for a couple of years, and nothing can compare to it. Small compared to today's vans and SUVs, but loads of cargo space. I will cry when we have to part company.

very impressive van

by Hit by a drunk driver from Medford, OR on Fri Jan 18 2013

I drove a rental 2012 Toyota van. Although it had a few extra bells, it still did not live up to the 1994 Dodge Grand Caravan. I owned this van for 10 years with not one problem and the van has plenty of power.

Good family van

by Nac12 from Roswell, nm on Sat Apr 08 2017

Great vehicle for a large family. Bucket seats and whole cab AC is really great for keeping your family cool during the hot New Mexico weather.

Yup...it's still running with 290000(+) miles.

by Won't Let Go from Largo, MD on Tue May 02 2017

Extremely reliable mini van. Was given to me as a gift from a friend. I honestly believe they thought it was junk, but they are always surprised to learn it is still performing very strong. That is, with regular maintenance.

Most reliable car ever. Just turn the key and you

by bnich01f from Chelsea, OK on Fri Sep 15 2017

This vehicle is a handicap van with remote control tailgate and ramp. If you are disabled and still love to drive this van is the ticket.

Our Take on the 1994 Dodge Grand Caravan

For the 1994 model year, Chrysler has made subtle but significant changes to its mini-van lineup.

After creating and dominating the segment since 1984, Chrysler isn't worried that the mini-van will go to pot. Rather, it's concerned that the mini-van customer might go to General Motors, Ford or Toyota.

But Chrysler accounts for 50 percent of industry mini-van sales, you say. So why worry? Because GM once accounted for 50 percent of industry car sales and now its share is closer to 30 percent. Good reason to worry.

We test-drove a 1994 Dodge Grand Caravan LE with all-wheel-drive here at the media preview of Chrysler's 1994 mini-van lineup. There seems to be little reason for Chrysler... Read More
