I love this car, only got it 3 days ago but loved it as soon as I test drove, I wanted a Ford Edge but changed my mind quick after testing it. So much storage spaces, the blue tooth voice command is great, smooth ride, comfortable seating, Grandaughter loves the 3rd row seating. Great value for this midsize crossover, would recommend to anyone, I got the Crew V6 and it is very sporty looking and the power is great, even my husband thought so and he drives a V8 Diesel. I think I got the first 2012 in the whole county and am getting lots of looks!

I could not believe it, but, when we took this car on a trip to Florida, 1353 miles, less than two weeks after we bought it we got over 28 mpg with it. The performance was what was expected, No I didn't pass a Challenger, but when I needed the boost it was there. If you drive the way I do, you'll get the gas mileage. If you are up and down in speed you won't no matter what car you drive. This car so far is what they said it would be and I am very happy with it.

New 2012 SE

We had a 2007 Saturn VUE and wanted to get something a bit bigger with more comfort, with a 3rd row, and yet keeping similar gas mileage. I sat and drove a Pilot and didn’t like the feel, too much like a truck and too boxy. We saw the 2013 Journey at an Auto show and loved it. We did a ton of research and found that the 2011, 2012, and 2013 were all basically the same. We then drove several 2011 and 2012 models. We found a used 2012 SE and purchased it. We love it. It’s very comfortable in the 1st and 2nd rows, nice room in the 2nd row and plenty of 3rd row room for a 4 year old. He loves sitting back there. There are so many standard features. Keyless entry, remote start, cooler storage in the 2nd row (haven’t used it yet), MPG tracking, heated mirror, illuminated cup holder, Ipod and MPG connections, easy to use touch screen for the radio, climate, etc and much much more. It’s great. I did have a hard time deciding on the V4 vs. the V6. The V6 is quieter and gets better reviews, but we went with a V4 model. I have no complaints. It has enough pick up for highway travel with no issues. We are getting great gas mileage too. 1st tank we averaged 23.5, the 2nd tank 25.5. Take note that the maintenance does suggest to change the spark plugs every 32K miles. (not on the V6) I will miss the automatic lights. I have to get used to turning them on again, but no big deal there. Yes, with the 3rd row up it is difficult to see out the back, but the side mirrors work just fine. It’s way to early to tell how reliable it will be. Hopefully it will be as good as our VUE, which had no problems over 6 years. So far could not be happier and would recommend it.

This SUV has power and a smooth ride. It accelerates quickly and there is no roll moving fast around curves. I have the 3.6L 6-speed trans. SXT. AWD. Digital console is easier than it first appears. But can take your eyes off of road too long if you are not careful. Unfortuanatley my model did not come with a vanity light or visor extension, but this is minor. Like the good gas mileage.

We got this Journey last week with only 156 miles on it. Now it has over 600 miles. Good driving. Love how the turning ratio is, and how smooth it does turn. Do with we got with a blue tooth. Never had Siruis XM and we are liking it came with a free one year trail offer. Might sign up for that when the year is done. We are getting about 22 mpg on both high way and city driving on average. Getting the teflon coating on the exterior done and having the interior doing for the stain guard. Glad we went to this from a 2002 Dodge Caravan. Was looking at a Chevy Equinox and a GMC Terrain, and got the Dodge Journey SXT.

Spent a ton of time decided what vehicle to get for both my work (I drive a lot) and my family of 5. After considering everything from a Traverse to a CX9 to an Equinox and even a Rav4, I couldn't walk away from the Journey. I would not say the outside is overly stylish, but the inside is incredibly comfortable. I traded in a Magnum R/T with a Hemi, so I was a little worried about the power. Again, pleasently surprised here as well. I purchased the V6 Crew and it is loaded up. The seats are super comfortable and the overall ride is great. I did not have a ton of luck with the Magnum from a reliability perspective, but this car was too much value to pass up. I am extremely happy and would easily recommend it anyone. Coincidently a co-worker just told me that she might get one now that she saw mine!

I have owned my Journey for only 6 weeks and only have 750 miles on it. I was looking at Kia Soul, Scion Xb, and the Nissan Cube all in this price range when my wife said she wasn't happy with the size of them and would not feel safe with our grandkids riding in it. I agreed and changed direction. I am retired so I was fazed when the salesman told me I would not win any drag races with it sadly those days are over for me but (but the memories linger) the 4 cylinder has enough pep with the 4 speed auto for us. Gas mileage is what they have listed I get 20-21 MPG city and 30-31 highway. It is equiped with the AVP option and includes every option I ever wanted and a lot I didn't know I wanted but so far all works great, ride is comfortable, seats also. The 8 year old grand kid told me "Papa your car is smokin hot" so it has her seal of approval the wife likes it and I am a happy man.

The wife seems to like the Journey, but not the milage that it gets, around 18-20mpg but she wanted the AWD with the V6 in it, what do you expect that you'd get. The one thing that you need if you do any winter driving are smaller rims and some good winter tires on them, the 19" on the vechile are worthless in the snow!!! and no one makes a 19" snow tire so you have to drop down to 18".

We bought a 2012 Dodge Journey in June 2012. We had been looking at several different vehicles and decided on the Journey. We bought the 6 cylinger version with the blue-tooth and 3rd row seat. We have made several 200 mile trips since buying and it rode very well. THe average gas mileage is running 23 to 24.5 on the highway and about 22 around town. We have found no noises, squeaks etc. The programming of the blue-tooth was very simple and automatic. Our phones loaded into the system with the push of a buttom and system defaults to the phone that is the nearest to the center console. The seats are comfortable (including the 3rd row seat) and support your body well. We are extremely satisified with the vehicle that we bought.
