Has been very reliable for me!
At 65,000 miles, our Journey has been excellent. The 3.6L V6 with the 6-speed have been nothing but great. I also really love the styling, especially with the black top package. The ride quality is great too. My only complaint is the infotainment system. It's a little outdated and the Bluetooth connectivity is problematic. So basically, my opinion is in complete disagreement with cars.com. haha! I would definitely but a Journey again.

It was only a year old when I bought it!
I am sitting here with a car that only has 78000 miles on it ... One day the engine light came on and was taking it to get it checked and it just died. Towed it to my repair shop.. 2 days later they are telling me a need a new motor!!! I have heard things about the transmission but not so much about the motor. If you find yourself wanting a 2016 Journey just be very careful!!!!!

All around excellent car and value.
All around excellent car and value. I would definitely purchase this Dodge Journey again. The all wheel drive system is a must have! Highly recommend the top of the line R/T model.

Great family vehicle
I bought a Journey R/T used after a lease trade-in 3 years ago. After a lot of miles, I have to say I am still as happy as when I first drive it home. It handles better than expected and it’s a fairly comfortable ride with or without the 6 extra passengers. The 2nd row seats slide in a 60/40 split to give a little extra room in the 3rd row, but the 3rd row is definitely a tight squeeze for teens and adults. Right now, I can still comfortably fit all 5 kids, but the younger ones (7 & 10) will eventually outgrow the rear seats. There is hidden storage all over the vehicle- the floor board of the second row, under the folding front passenger seat, in the trunk. This is a nice option when carrying a lot of passengers. I can tell that some of the interior trim is on the cheap side, which is to be expected from Dodge at this price point, but I have yet to have anything break. I feel like this is a great value for someone needing a lot of seats on a tight budget.

Not impressed
I test drive this vehicle and was completely unimpressed. It’s so cramped and didn’t have many features. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Dodge could’ve done better.

Good for the price
Nothing can beat the price and what you get. Reliable and safe. Low maintenance. Go get a Honda and pay 1000 per maintenance. This car have everything you need. Period.

Easy to drive and has lots of amenities.
I like driving it; it has a lot of conveniences. Nicely built and will be good on gas. It has enough room for my family too.
