Fun Stylish Fuel Efficient Value

My little Bella Bianca has delivered on all the qualities touted by Fiat. The manual transmission is extremely smooth and adds to the fuel efficiency as well as the get-up-and-go. Holds it's own easily on SD freeways and is a breeze to park in the city. Cornering is tight, ride is smoother than the Mini, and it's cute as a button inside and out. I am transported to the Tuscan hills whenever I drive her. Reliability is yet to be determined, but I'm optimistic.

Lots of bang for the buck

Since purchasing my new 500, I've been getting 42mpg. 2 over the window sticker. Its also an ton of fun. Coming from several RWD BMWs I was expecting it to be ho hum. But I couldn't have been more wrong. Go give one a test drive!

All Around Great Deal

I looked at comparable sized cars (The Mini, Yaris) and realized The Fiat 500 was a better deal for the cost. I have a low end Pop and am 100% happy. I've taken it on road trips, camping (little bit off road and it handles great) and can fit quite a bit inside with he seats down. My girlfriend is over 6ft and not a tiny human. She fits fine. I recommend to anyone looking for a stylish, affordable and gas-efficient (I've gotten 38 freeway by watching my usage and hovering at 30 in city.) It handles well, and is amazing.

Great for city

For driving around town and getting 34 MPG, its great. I have not taken this car on any short trips yet, so not sure how I would like it for on the road. I have a large SUV for that. Bought this car for the wife since she doesn't like to drive the suv. For 2 people this has plenty of room inside and rides and handles very good. This also has plenty of pep.

I love my Fiat!

I bought a 2013 Fiat 500 Lounge Gucci Edition back in July and I love it. I recently took a road trip and I got 44 MPG!! It was only supposed to get 35 MPG. Around town I get about 33-36, which is better than the 30 MPG it was supposed to get. The only thing I wish it had that is doesn't is electronic seat controls and lumbar support. I have a bad back so I get a little stiff on long trips. Other than that I love all the features. The price was great too. I couldn't believe a fully loaded Gucci edition was only a little over $25,000. My friend liked it so much he bought an Abarth! I love the sunroof. I've never had a car with a sunroof. It's really great on nice days. The interior is fantastic. Black and ivory with gucci stripes on the middle of the seats and Gucci "G" symbols embossed on the seats. The seat belts are Gucci colored. I love it! Theres a normal amount of room in the front, but if you have a person in the backseat theres not a whole lot of room. I would highly recommend this car for gas milage, price, features and looks!

Very Happy with New Fiat 500 Pop

I just purchased a New 2013 Fiat 500 Pop after spending some time researching the specs and comparing it to other new compact cars. So far, I am Very Happy with all aspects of my purchase. This car has some really neat features-too many to list. I especially likes how it handles and the ease of shifting. Also, I didn't realize how much I'd like the automatic sunroof. We hardly ever have it closed-day or night- unless it is raining. I love the ease of use of the Hatchback and trunk area. The Dash and Driver Controls are Fantastic and I especially like the Digital Gage in the center of the speedometer/tachometer that I didn't think I'd like! They've thought of everything with this car. Great Lights, sound, styling, gas mileage-this car is so quiet inside-and you can't hear any road noise when the sunroof is open. I didn't want Black but the little colored sparkles in the paint-they grow on you - I love it! Such a Fun Car-Cute and Classy and with a Safe Rating. A Great Driving Experience!

Car moves and you don't feel it.

I looked around for a small vehicles that got at least 30mpg. Tried Honda-- just didn't like it, fords-- the cars smelled bad, Toyotas -scions, felt too small for me. Love the Mini's but perium gas$$$$$. So went to Fiat and tested the 500 and the 500L. Wow! Very good rating on test crashes and priced in my range. Drove the 6 speed automatic- to standard and wow fun to drive. Hugs curves and meets my needs. Looks awesome and the car has a face! With a mustache, silver trim. Bought this vehicle and I am so happy with it. Very comfortable to drive and moves in traffic. Happy happy happy!!!!!!!

very fun car

love this car I got the 500t so its fun to drive has some power and handles great its like a little go cart. I bought this car back in April and have 5200 miles on it I wanted to drive it a bit before I wrote a review. This car is almost fully loaded and has Bluetooth and heated leather seats and satellite radio its tells me what I am getting for mileage and tells me how much further I can go on a tank of gas with the turbo I am getting about 33mpg avg witch is pretty good considering the way I drive it. the only issue I have is the quality of the interior door panels they mark very easily just by putting your hand in and out of the door handle this seams cheap for a not so cheap car.

Back in an econobox hatchback

The car has been Chryslerized and for the US marketisn't the engine that the European car has. After 2,500 miles, obviously enough driving time to get an impression of what the car does well, but for LT durability that jury is still out. Ground clearance, just be patient instead of trying to straddle grass and even lower curbs, otherwise you'll scrape bottom or in some cases the front spindle arms. Performance, the car is 0-60 in 9.2-9.5 seconds. Not a ball of fire, but traffic is going to make that unnoticeable & immaterial. A lot of faster and higher priced new vehicles are going to be 2 seconds and more quicker 0-60 and even thru the 1/4 mile. Considering the 2+ second safe following distance rule, this actually works for being a safe driver, because floored, you're going to be 2+ seconds behind the hot rodder with 300+ hp. Highway driving, this car has no problem keeping up with traffic in the city or on the highway. Add that you won't be the front runner and someone else is going to collect speeding citations and preoccupy the state trooper while you conserve fuel and make solid progress to your destination. Cruising range ? The 10.5 gallon tank is no problem in the city. I think it needs a 12.5 or 13 gallon tank to easily get 400+ miles with the automatic transmission? The manual transmissin may get the 400+ miles. My actual fuel economy is about 33 mpg combined and I actually drive it 45/55 %, city/highway. That highway mileage has several stretches of longer miles of 0-10, maybe even 20 mph gridlock. So it's actually worse than city traffic. Imagine a stretch of 6 lane highway 10-12 miles of gridlock. Yep, that's Miami, FL from 25th in Doral to 154th in Miami Lakes. I put 80 miles on it each day. So it's a commuter. 2,000 miles a month. Hard to say it will do better or worse for mpg due to traffic. Combined though, I've goten as good as 34.6 and as bad as 30.5 on that commute. EPA estimates, 27 city 34 highway and epa combined 45/55 % 30 mpg. Some days are wors than others but my combined mpg feels better than the epa estimates. At a speedometer indicated 75 mph, the engine turns 3,000 rpms. The speedo errors high, so 49 mph is actually 45 mph with the 195/45/16's. There's a road that has a radar detected speed indicator, so if that is calibrated as accurate, the peedometer error that virtually every car has is within that acceptable tolerance. The car grows on you. Coming from a mid-size SUV, small car anxiety is real, because there are bullies that try to push you around because their car is bigger and quicker. Give them that space, because they'll stop after taking it from you every time. They close on the car in front of them and can't go anyways. $ 32-38 gas fill ups are good things. One last word, interior space, this car is a 2 seater really for adults. The hatchback storage area, it's a large grocery cart. I guess you could put a small child in the back seat, but really, fold the seats down and load up your bulk purchase of groceries. The car is ideal for retired empty nesters or kids in high school/college. As well as my case, a commuter that gets better fuel economy. There are vehicles that do that better, but very few do it with the heritage & history the Fiat 500 does t with. I will honestly report that I can park it at Starbucks in a parking lot with Porsches, Audis, Lexus, BMW and other high end cars and the Fiat gets more attention & looks. The car is simply a chick magnet, it's the adorably cute little puppy in a room full of dogs.
