Love at first drive!

I have owned a variety of cars, ranging from a Jeep Grand Cherokee to a Mini Cooper and this car has the best of both those worlds. It sits high on the road and the visibility from the drivers seat is phenomenal, there are virtually no blind spots. The turning radius, zippyness of the engine, and responsive steering make me feel like I'm in my old mini, yet the driving comfort and height make me feel like I'm in a Jeep. It is also the quietest ride I've ever owned. There is barely any tire noise or wind noise while on the highway. The interior is simple yet sleek. I'm constantly impressed with the intuitive placement of items, like how to use the windshield washer, and how easy the overall interior is to navigate. It is also very spacious! The rear seats fold flat and the cargo room in the trunk is ample. I am a musician, artist, and yoga teacher, and have no problems fitting my gear and going from place to place. Another lovely feature is it trains you to drive in a more fuel economic way, the avg mpg is listed at 42mpg city, but I have easily been maintaining 44mpg while around town. My only complaint is the exterior is a little on the vanilla side, it has a mom mini van vibe from the exterior, but that is a small thing.

Smoothest accelerating + most fun to drive hybrid.

Ford CMAX hybrid is an exceptional car. Acceleration is seamless between electrical power and gas motor (vs acceleration pauses in other hybrids). Responsive, fun to drive, plenty of space (comfortable), larger space behind 2nd seat than Ford Fusion hybrid (holds 2 large suitcases). Averages 40 mpg. Well built. Well designed.

great car

Love the car but have the hots for a plug-in! Maybe an Energi or Rav4. This car is super ergonomic. I'd recommend it to anyone.

His Name is Bob

My mother's car. Sometimes we drive all battery on it and it says 999.99 mpg that trip. Makes us laugh every time. The back seat can get crowded if 3 people are back there. That's why the 4 stars on comfort. Cute exterior, ours is a blue-ish color but sometimes it looks green or silver. If I had enough saved and didn't mind a monthly car payment, I'd get myself a cmax hybrid.

Still have my 2013 C-Max

My car has out performed my expectations. Have had NO problems (not one) with 56k miles. Will be getting new tires (my first time) this spring (2017). Treads worn evenly thanks to the tire pressure monitor. The gas miles monitor show some trips with 64mpg! I forget to put gas in. I drove to Vegas from NJ and back. The cost of gas? $300!!! that was before they installed the new chip. Can't beat that. Will be keeping the car for awhile. I'd trade in for a new one but the trade in value is around $10,000. Highly recommend others to buy with confidence.

Excellent Reliability and MPG.

I purchased a used 2013 C-Max Hybrid with 160000 miles on it. I could not be more impressed with the Quality that Ford built into this Vehicle. I compare this car with other Hybrids like the Camry Hybrid (Looks extremely CHEAP by comparison). I was surprised that other than Changing the Oil and Air Filter that the car was mechanically as good as day it left factory with all this mileage. I checked Everything on the car. The spark plugs, Brakes, Schocks and Struts,.....NOTHING needed replacing even though these are wearable parts. IMO, this car will probably be least expensive to maintain i ever owned. Also ALL THE Boots and Steering system under the Car are not cut or even showing signs of wear. This isa Well built car. I have seen Merceds CVAxle boots cut at 160000 miles while the Cmax look new at that mileage. The Gas mileage is exactly as New EPA revised numbers. 35 to 37 MPG Highway at 70 to 80 MPH (Speed limit in Texas). 40 to 42 MPG in City Or Slow Suburban driving (55 MPH ) with Traffic lights. I love this car. I could go on also on Navigation, Beautiful dashboard and all the technology but others wrote about it. only con is Voice Commands are missed alot by Sync. This is a voice recognition issue will improve with new models. Another impressive feature is the huge size for rear passengers in Back seats. Three 6 foot tall people can sit comfortably in back seats and the high roof gives a sense of Much larger car. Great Job Ford!

Just a great car

Fords are the best . We have 2 Cmax Energi . Will not go into detail, but, just a great quality Hybrid that gets incredible gas mileage and feels like a Mercedes on the inside. Also, Ford really wants to sell you a Hybrid. Toyota sales people could care less (like they are the only ones doing this anymore).

MPG better than expected

For the last weeks in fall (no ac, no heating) got consistently 50MPG for (very careful) city driving. A Hybrid that doesn't look like the eco-nerd Prius while with the high-roof being family friendly as its a great plus to get the kids into their childs-seats. Downside to me is interior quality with real cheap plastics like door panels or dashboard. My Volt feels like a premium car in comparison while also being more silent. While in city driving the c-max hybrid (not energi) does quite a bit of drivng on EV mode, too. Overall, don't regret the purchase at all. Great value for the money for me so far while not knowing it's reliability, yet.
