A Car to sell to a friend

Super clean car, in perfect condition. Full package. Leather Seats , Sky dome sunroof, All wheel drive. I would sell this to a close friend without any doubt. New Buyer will be happy using this car for sure.

Excellent pre owned vehicle

I love in Alaska, needed a reliable car for snowy conditions, it is in great condition, has power, looks great

Love the space, smooth style, and reliability.

Nice leg and head room, the best viability so no blind spots, fold down seats with spacious cargo room, smooth exterior edges, the AWD is handles all weather and road conditions.

Comfort, Leg Room, Elbow Room, Head Room, Cargo Space, People Space, Sun Roof, Smooth Ride, Wide Wheel Base, Nice Turns, AWD and a Neat and Trim Look Interior and Exterior. Absolutely Love It !!!!

Love my Edge

It's a great car. It has a 166,000 miles on it now. It has never let me down. It's beautiful and comfortable ride.

Major problems

My wife loves her Edge. I deal with maintenance issues and this car has cost us thousands. PTU problems, lower control arms, etc. she is in the market for a new vehicle and even said she wouldn't mind another Edge. It's not gonna happen. This vehicle just isn't reliable enough. And ford doesn't do anything about obvious design flaws. Poor customer service from manufacturer.

ford edge

my 2007 edge only gets 14 mpg on the hwy` not what ford promised. at 11400 miles the transmission dont shift right. ford has no answer.

Why did I wait so long.......

I bought my Edge used with 62,000 miles. It is very roomy and the rear seats have plenty of leg room even with the front seats all the way back. It handles very well and has plenty of power. The only minor drawbacks are no 3rd row seat, (I don't need it anyway) and the fuel mileage, but my Edge is all wheel drive so that could account for that. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

2007 Ford Edge SEL AWD

LOVE my edge SEL. I bought it used, with 91,000mi. I was young and wanted an suv, but had a small budget. I still drive it and I have had no problems at all, however, when I purchased it something was leaking and the dealership had to fix it. It ended up being the transfer case, which is a known problem on these suvs. so I lucked out that they had to fix it and not me. My dog loves all the space it has, very wide and spacious inside. The truck is big as well. Its a 2007 but looks newer and the interior doesn't look dated at all. The gas was a big change for me since I went from a Honda civic, but it does alright on long distance driving for mpg. The AWD in the snow makes up for the not so good gas mileage!

2007 Ford Edge is Both Fun and Practical

I am a new owner of a 2007 Ford Edge SEL. I like the comfort of all seating areas and the roomy cabin. The Cargo storage area is large enough. I wish there were a cargo cover panel like some of the smaller cars in the Ford lineup. The panorama roof was a pleasant surprise. It gets 18/26 MPG so far. I have put almost 2000 miles on the vehicle. It is a little slow accelerating to merge into interstate traffic, so you need to plan ahead. Once up to highway speed, it's smooth sailing. I like the visibility with windows and mirrors. The heated side mirrors are nice in the snow country. The back-up beeper is very handy because the second row headrests limit backwards visibility. The rear hatch is really heavy to open, but I might consider replacing the pistons. It holds in place, but I miss the Town and Country's automatic opener. It drives like my husband's Explorer, but has the comfort of a much bigger ride. It is easy to get in and out of, even for our extremely tall sons (6'7"). I like the steering wheel controls for the radio, temp, fan and cruise. The AUX radio jack is nice for Pandora or other MP3 input. It just got a new gas tank courtesy of Ford due to a recall. I am glad for the recall, because it was a very expensive fix. The automatic headlights are wonderful. I like the fog lights too. The dash is not easy to read at dusk. They needed to light it up a little better. During the day it's fine, and after dark it's fine. The courtesy lights inside and outside are very helpful. So far, it's fun to drive and serves our family well. I will consider purchasing a new Edge in a couple of years if this one continues to hold up well.
