Great vehicle

Great vehicle and I would recommend it to anyone. The only downfall was the gas mileage was the same as a larger suv

Major problems

My wife loves her Edge. I deal with maintenance issues and this car has cost us thousands. PTU problems, lower control arms, etc. she is in the market for a new vehicle and even said she wouldn't mind another Edge. It's not gonna happen. This vehicle just isn't reliable enough. And ford doesn't do anything about obvious design flaws. Poor customer service from manufacturer.

Why did I wait so long.......

I bought my Edge used with 62,000 miles. It is very roomy and the rear seats have plenty of leg room even with the front seats all the way back. It handles very well and has plenty of power. The only minor drawbacks are no 3rd row seat, (I don't need it anyway) and the fuel mileage, but my Edge is all wheel drive so that could account for that. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

2007 Ford Edge SEL AWD

LOVE my edge SEL. I bought it used, with 91,000mi. I was young and wanted an suv, but had a small budget. I still drive it and I have had no problems at all, however, when I purchased it something was leaking and the dealership had to fix it. It ended up being the transfer case, which is a known problem on these suvs. so I lucked out that they had to fix it and not me. My dog loves all the space it has, very wide and spacious inside. The truck is big as well. Its a 2007 but looks newer and the interior doesn't look dated at all. The gas was a big change for me since I went from a Honda civic, but it does alright on long distance driving for mpg. The AWD in the snow makes up for the not so good gas mileage!
