Very well maintained
I am handicapped with the car being just what I was looking for what I needed for support. The buying process was very easy, understanding, and very accommodating. Sandy Sanderson

Favorite Car I've Owned So Far!
This car was the second car I've ever bought (the first being a Dodge Durango) and I gotta say, I love this car! I do love the 2012 and older models, and the 2011 is amazing from comfort to the use of the Bluetooth SYNC features. The gas mileage could be better for a small SUV 4-cylinder car, but it was convenient for every day use. I drove this car 25 miles to school and to work; sometimes I got off-roading with it, and my car is the first choice for road trips. There is plenty of room, but slightly less room in the back for passengers (I am really tall so I need the seat all the way back). There is a large amount of cargo space in the back and it is perfect for any type of use.

Great value, great performance on the road or off
Bought this car in April 2011 because I wanted better gas mileage than my Jeep . Its a 4 wheel drive hybrid and it has delivered far more than I expected. it now has 132k on it repairs have been new plugs at a 110k, new belt 110k, injectors cleaned at 110k, front brakes rotors, shocks and stuts at 128k, also new tie rod ends at 128k, new 12 vlt battery at 97k, new door latch on rear hatch at 98k. Oil changes at e very 5k or so. But performance is outstanding very stable in extreme moves, outstandin on ice, deep MI snow and does very well on MI seasonal road of sand, rocks, deep pot holes and have forded streams of over 18 inches. I put a class 3 hitch on it and it pulls my 3500 lb boat and trailer. Average mileage for both city and highway 29.3 miles per gallon. Do recommend the Michelin 65k all season tires better grip in the bad stuff and you do get 65k out of them. Only complaint is I am beginning to get some fender rust on the rear fender lips but its not thru and can be fixed and the car spends half the time in northern MI. Rides a little stiff but far better than a jeep. Good electronics seamlessly shifts torque to what ever wheels are getting traction , very good emergency stopping good anti roll great anti skid controls

Worst vehicle ever the rust is unbearsble.
Too many problems right after the warranty is up..everything goes wrong ,it doesn't matter how many time we take it to the mechanic..the rust is a disease..

2011 Ford Escape GREAT little SUV
I recently bought a low mileage 2011 Ford Escape in the AWD XLT trim. So far the vehicle is performing well and did notice an improvement after cleaning the air filter and running half a cup of seafoam as I found out the first time I drove it, I found it was rather noisy and clattered like a diesel which the seafoam and air blasting the filter helped to quiet it down. Anyone who buys this SUV, expect that your driving habits MUST CHANGE knowing the 3.0 V6 engine does show some aggression when taking off from a red light. Fuel mileage for being an SUV is noticeably a little more stretched than many other comparative SUVs For the interior, there is lots of head and leg space to fit a wide range of people, I find the cloth seats are a little on the stiff side but are still comfy for relaxing long range trips on the highway. All the controls are neatly placed In a clean configuration for the newest of drivers. The 3.0 engine runs strong and smooth although it does make a soft clattering when under load which according to my father is normal for the Escape to have. The six speed automatic transmission shifts through all its gears smoothly like butter. It handles well for being an SUV with very marginal chassis roll. The suspension is dialed in well, the brakes are strong and was honestly abit surprised to see drum brakes on the back. So far I am very much enjoying this vehicle, and I do plan to eventually swap the rear drums for discs later on. Above all, the Ford Escape is a splendid little SUV for the city where there are often lots of potholes and going off-road. This truly would be an amazing vehicle for anyone.

Never had an issue with the car, 134,000 miles
Very reliable, daughter went to college with it and was safe. No problems with car, great AC and fun to drive. Easy to maneuver and park. Good load capacity, I hauled a 4' by 4' sign in back.

Most Reliable Car
I absolutely love my 2011 Escape! I've never had any major issues with it. I have over 100k miles on it and have only had a fan break. I've noticed in the last year that the engine is making more noise but everyone I've taken it to says there's nothing wrong with it. I'll keep it till it dies and I'm sure that won't be any time soon!

Great All-Around SUV
2011 Ford Escape XLT 4-cyl with 80,000 miles. Runs and looks great. Comfortable and roomy leather interior, good rear seating, excellent handling, decent fuel economy. No mechanical issues so far. Rides much smoother on non-Michelin tires. The engine is a little noisy, yet a very solid all-around vehicle.
