Best running truck I have ever owned

Love this truck, rides really smooth, is super reliable, trouble free, and has a fantastic towing capacity rating. I have owned this truck for 5 yeas and never had a single problem with it, has about 171k miles on it now and it just keeps going.

Love driving for 800 miles without fill ups.

Very safe for family driving , good towing , camping or daily grocery pickups, can fit ten foot long lumber within cab. Heavy loads ok .

I live my truck

This is the best vehicle we have ever owned. I would keep it but my 6 kids are grown up now and we don’t need this big vehicle. So sad!!

Excellent Workhorse

I used this vehicle to tow a trailer and routinely had 8 people seated comfortably. It's too bad Ford stopped making them. Never had any significant problems with the 6.0 diesel.

Hands down the best family vehicle I?ve ever had

Despite what everyone says about fuel mileage, we love our Excursion. The talking heads would have you believe that the V10 only gets 12-13 mpg highway but ours averages 16-18.5. When you consider that it weighs just shy of 6000 lbs without people and gear, that?s pretty impressive. The other myth I?d like to dispel is the size. The Excursion is the same size as a standard cab long bed pickup! If you don?t believe me, if you remove the 3rd row seat and lay the second row down, you have the equivalent of an 8? pickup bed. The v10 doesn?t leak and will absolutely pull anything and the entirety of the Excursion is comfortable and durable, an absolutely fantastic family hauler in every way. Ford should have kept making them.

Turbo deisel MONSTER

This is the best suv ever made. I can tow anything i hook to it and ride in extreme conmfort on long trips. I did the x/c sping swap and it sits level and rides like a truck should. The 6.0 has been bullet proofed and with a programmer will flat fry the tires. Very fast for a 8500 pound vehicle.

Great vehicle has a lot of power .

This vehicle met my needs . Interior holds together very well . I have an 2003 model and it's better than any other 2003 vehicle I have ever seen. The 6.0 diesel motor when tuned right is one of the baddest diesels out there . Needles to say I haven't been beat when racing in it .

Very reliable

This is by far the best heavy duty SUV ever made. The 7.3 diesel engine has plenty of power to pull anything, and still gets 15-18 MPG. The interior is spacious, plenty of room for all seven kids and all of their luggage. Perfect for traveling with family.
