2007 Ford Expedition EL consumer reviews

You can just feel the strength of this vehicle, no tin doors or body, it is extremely reliable, I have put a couple of hundred miles on it, do regular PM's and it should last for a long time! The only thing negative is the gas mileage but I would not trade that for anything.

Best truck we've owned. Ours currently has 309,000 miles on it and the trans is just starting to go. I mean what do you expect with all those miles, its been all over the country. Getting ready to sell it. We would've put a trans in but we have 5 other cars and we just bought a new car. The gas mileage was pretty good as well. My husband worked 2 hrs one way from home, retired and now does delivery and used this truck. Other than the trans, this truck is a GEM!

I think the car is great if you have a large family. It was comfortable, the leather seats were great. I did not have any issues with it what so ever.

I recently rented a 2019 Chevy Tahoe and I can honestly say that I like the fit and finish of my Expedition better. Of course the newer car had more bells and whistles, but the ride quality and comfort of the Expedition was the clear winner. This car has had zero mechanical issues during my ownership!

From hauling people and luggage for road trips, to towing boat, camper, and small four wheeler trailer. Does it all pretty well. Been reliable and comfortable.

This is the perfect family vehicle, it provides great bang for your buck. Looked at competitors options, they don?t compare. Just purchased a 2017 EXPEdition.

I purchased my 2007 Ford Expedition EL in 2009. This purchase was one of the best purchases I ever made. This vehicle fit 5 people and 2 dogs with ease as well as pulled all of our toys without issue. This vehicle has been used for work and play. I purchased a newer Ford 150 in 2018 but my Expedition has stood the test of time. Mechanically I couldn't have asked for a sturdier vehicle I take very good care of my vehicles and the Expedition has taken care of me.

Loved the car when I first purchased it. Thought it drove like a limousine, but always had a tire wear problem. Always had a strange vibration at high speeds. Needed a forced balance often. Come to find out after the 3rd tire change that the rims were not round. That's what ruined all my tires, and always made me do this forced balance. They were defective, but there was nothing I could do about it, by the time I found out. The other issue was spark plug changes. Ford charges $800.00 to change the spark plugs. Just the plugs, because of a bad engine design. I had to change the plugs twice in 120,000 miles of driving. That's $1600.00 in spark plug changes. That's all they did for $800.00 each time. This doesn't include all the other regular maintenance costs.

This vehicle was perfect for me and my family, plenty of leg room, drove very smoothly, this is the perfect vehicle for a growing family

This is the first Ford I own that has all the features I look for in a vehicle and has great comfort for long drives.
