I have had other SUV's nothing compairs
Has the ride and quiteness of a Lincoln. For large people over 6'4" and 250 plus it gives you all the room one needs. I am not even tempted to trade for another product. I plan on keeping this one for a long time because it is just right for hauling a boat and camping.

I'm sold
I have 5 children (newborn-14) and needed something that would fit everyone (including 4 carseats and a stroller). I thought my only option was a Suburban or Yukon. I was ready to buy the Suburban until today. I test drove it and wasn't happy. It was loud and uncomfortable. Also, the 3rd row was surprisingly tight with not much leg room. I left the dealer dissappointed. On the way home, we drove past the Ford dealer and my hubby suggested we stop. I was totally against a Ford from earlier experience. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Ford had extended the length. It was also much nicer then I remembered the Expeditions being. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. So we took it for a test drive and we were sold. It drove very smoothly and I had no problems backing it into a parking space. It also didn't feel as big to drive as the Suburban did. I was amazed at the leg and head room of the 3rd row, especially compared to the Suburban. We didn't buy one but plan to within the next month. I'm done shopping around and look forward to driving the Limited EL.

Better than that Suburban!
i owned a 2002 Chevy Suburban LT and my new Expedition EL is a true winner! The slick new 6 speed auto transmission is smooth and much less coarse than the old 4 speed. The seats are really rich, the leather is so soft, and the dash is top notch! I payed almost 2500 for the power fold thrid row seat, buts its so worth the cash, its easy and no more lifting! Ford did a good job with this beast

Wow! What a fun classy vehicle!
Had a "97 GMC suburban and it was a pretty good vehicle. In 03 Decided we need a new ride and tried the Excursion but it was too big and drove like my super duty and the Expedition didn't have enough space so we bought a 2003 GMC Yukon(from here forward called the Pukon)We had several issues with it but when we heard that the expedition was extended we ordered one. Got the Eddie Bauer edition in bright copper. What a beautiful ride! We love all the features and it was worth the $3000 I had to pay to get rid of the pukon(diff in what we owed and got in trade) wouldn't sell it locally cause we live in a small town and know everybody. Thanks Ford for finally making a vehicle that will show GM that Ford is once again on top of the game!

How sweet it is...
We had a 2003 Expedition and wanted a bit more room and functionality. Looked at the new 07' Suburban and while it was a good looking truck, it seemed like there was not enough bang for the buck... the price was a bit extreme and there were no options in the truck pushing us towards further haggle with them... Fast forward 7 months, still with the 03 Expedition (not the smoothest running truck)... test drove the 2007 Expedition EL LIMITED... bought it on the spot as Ford was a lot more flexible with their pricing... A smoother ride than any GM I've been in (and I always had them labeled the smoothest). It has every bell and whistle and everything is strategically placed in the vehicle. It's a smooth, clean cut vehicle jammed with high end option... FORD didn't miss a beat and has finally outdone themselves!!!

Pleasantly Surprised
After owning both Chevy and Ford products, I was ready to turn in our '03 Expedition for the 2007 Suburban. I honestly can say that I am not loyal to one make over another. My wife missed the smooth ride and extra space of our 2000 Suburban -- for hauling the kids and all the stuff that goes along with a family on the go. The Chevy dealers weren't budging much on price on the 2007 Suburban, so, reluctantly, I took a look at the Expedition EL. WOW. The ride totally surpassed my expectations... our '03 Expedition was a bit bumpy, so I wasn't really expecting much. Further, the features on the Ford and the styling are much more aggressive and thought out than the GM product and there is a more quality feel to the passenger compartment. Moreover, the Ford dealers were moving more on price than were the Chevy dealers... no matter how the numbers ran or how many dealerships I visited... I think Ford may have finally figured out a way to give the Suburban hallmark at Chevy worthy competition.

I bought a Ford Expedition and it is SWEET !!
Drove GM all my life. Sold the old 2003 Tahoe and went shopping. I never would have thought I would have strayed far from the GM line up but after driving them all and doing some common sense comparisons it was a no brainer. The 2007 Expedition is sweet. It definitley beats the competion in all areas. Before you buy your next full size SUV be sure to drive the Expedtion I gauarntee you will look no further., It is your best bang for your buck.
