Love Ford Vehicles
It has been my dream car for several years, plenty of room with all the bells and whistles. It handles very well and is a smooth ride.

Generally good but very bad seats & comfort
This car hits so many aces, but the one thing it is meant for, carrying people, is the area where it falls down. The front seats are short in the cushion, and very hard, after only an hour I get aches and pains in my legs, its as though the circulation in my left leg is cut off by the hardness of the seat. The legroom is only average, and the position for your left foot is set at an un-natural angle and becomes painful after a while . The rear seat has not a lot of space for a SUV of this size its a squeeze, and the third row is really only useful for small children. Ford should have offered a 5 seater version with 5 proper seats alongside the 7 seat version which is severely compromised.

Good SUV upgrade
This car meets all of my family?s current needs. I previously owned an Escape. We were looking for something a little bigger for our growing family without needing to buy an Expadition. This vehicle runs smooth and has a lot of power.

Ford Explorer 3.5 V6
I only bought it recently. The car does seem to be built with quality in mind - leather seats seem durable and the interior components seem to be of good quality. There is quite a bit of trunk space even with the third row seats up - a lot with them being down. It does have a very nice design on the outside - it is an eye catcher. Fuel economy is OK - something to expect for a car of this size. 20 to 22 mpg on hwy at 75 to 80 m/hr. 15 to 19 mpg in city driving depending on how heavy your foot is. Overall, I like how it looks and how it drives. We will yet to see how dependable it is.

Comfortable and great feel
great suv that beats the dodge/jeep product line for quality and performance. Powerful look to the exterior styling while having the comfort inside to back it up.

Just bought my 2nd one!
I owned a 2012 explorer limited and loved it. Never had any issues with reliability and loved the comfort and features it provided. So without hesitation, I just purchased a 2016 explorer sport. More power with the same fuel economy and a few extra features. I'm in love with my explorer all over again! Rides and drives great, perfect for the family.

Ford?s Best
I owned the limited and it had every bell and whistle one could think of. Air conditioned front seats and seat warmer for back seats.

Worst car I ever bought
Would never buy this car or recommend anyone to buy this car. I bought this car 3 months ago and have been smelling a burning smell inside the car when accelerating rapidly to get on interstate. Come to find out the car had a recall on carbon monoxide entering the vehicle when doing that. Ford supposedly fixed the recall before they sold it to me and the car is still having the same problem. So I took it to the dealer and they say they already fixed it, even though when they drove it they could still smell that smell too . So I called ford directly and the lady said there was nothing more they could do because they already attempted to fix the recall once and that's all they'll do . So now I'm stuck driving a car that fills with carbon monoxide and have 2 small children and they think that's ok. And apparently this has been happening on many other explorers for awhile now . Wish I had read some reviews before purchasing and looked up any recalls too. Extremely upset with the customer service of ford. Never again . Hope this helps someone else.
