Has more than we expected!

We downsized from a Yukon XL and find plenty of room in this car along with all the extra bells and whistles! Very quiet, too!

So far so good!

This car is luxury looking, and feeling. I really enjoy the extra space without having to drive a tank. My family fits comfortably, and yet I still get better gas mileage than my Avalon. We will see it the car stands the test of time.

Most comfortable car I have had.

It is so comfortable. It heats up quickly on cold winter days, love the heated seat. The radio is excellent quality. I don't feel the bumps in the road.

Most comfortable car I have had.

It is so comfortable. I had my second spine surgery thirteen months ago and the seats and car heat up quickly.

Love my new ride!

Hadn?t previously owned a ford but after test driving this one I was sold! Very pleased with this choice and they went over and above to accommodate a minor issue it had electronically

My old explorer

one of the bests for its costs, has all that is needed in a luxury vehicle and has a lot of room for a family and for traveling.

Smooth Ride

I love my Explorer. It is such a smooth ride and has tons of space! Only thing I wish it had was more compartments on the dash for storage. Other than that, it is perfect!

Very comfortable & reliable vehicle!

This is by far my favorite vehicle that I?ve owned. It is extremely comfortable, spacious, and smooth-riding. It is very sleek looking, both interior and exterior. It handles very well, and has very little (if any!) blind spots. I feel safe in this vehicle! So much room and great on gas!

Big promise but falls short of expectations

2016 Ford Explorer Platinum - was really looking forward to buying this car, ended up buying it used with 17K miles on it. Pros: Exterior look, Ecoboost engine, fast take-off, nice maneuverability, AWD, decent electronics. CONS: Way too many!! (1) The MPG is not even close to what they advertise. The brochures claim 18 MPG on average, I NEVER got more than 14.9 MPG out of my car, and I drive about 70% of time on freeways, and 30% - city. I had Mercedes GL350 Diesel before, I could drive a week on the same tank, now I have to fill up every two days! (2) To add insult to injury, their gas tank is only 16 gallons, so you can barely get 260 miles out of tank, and then start looking for a gas station! Stupid! (3) Platinum seats look nice, but the leather is cheap! I can see already that this leather will not last longer than 3-4 years. (4) Roof racks are a joke! I just discovered when getting ready to take the family skiing that the roof rails are actually cheap plastic decorative bars that have no actual purpose at all, just the looks. They don't have any space between the rails and the roof, so you can't tie anything to them, and they are made from plastic, so you can't even attach anything over 5 lbs to them. I had to rent a truck at Home Depot to get a Christmas tree home! Then why have them on the car? Ford could probably save $2 for materials and $100 for Union labor if they didn't install it on the car to start with, it's just there for the looks! (5) Middle row is not very comfortable for the baby seat, installation is difficult and not enough leg room. (6) Third row is not very comfortable either, and leaves no trunk space at all. Overall, very disappointed in the car, will trade it for something different this summer

Im so happy!

My Ford Explorer is smarter than me! With the remote start, leather heated seats, moon roof, 7 passenger seating and all the bells and whistles, I have my dream car.
