Very nice vehicle.

The car meets my needs. I like that is roomy in the front and back. It also has a third row. I purchase this vehicle to help transport some of my daycare children to school.

Best car I have ever owned

I had one for 6 years, put 235,000 miles on it and the only thing outside of regular maintenance I had to do was change a fog light. I gave it to my son, the car has 250,000 miles on it now and still rides like brand new

Most under appreciated Ford car made.

This is not my first Flex I've owned. Mine have always been AWD, living in Michigan. This is, without a doubt, the most underappreciated car in the Ford line up. It's a fact that anyone that actually gets in one and drives it will soon own one. They just can't get past the unconventional appearance and the argument of "is it a truck, a station wagon, a SUV or a mini-van?" In my case, it's the only vehicle that meets my needs. Due to physical limitations of myself and my senior mother, of whom I'm the sole caregiver, this vehicle is ideal for our needs. Getting in and out of a car, which is too low, is difficult, especially for her. Climbing up into a SUV, even a small one like an Explorer/Durango or Equinox, is difficult. The Flex, however, is a proverbial Goldielox car in that it is just right...just low enough and yet just high enough for easy entry exit by not having to lower or raise oneself, but making a lateral slide into or out of the car. The car is just shy of the length of a Chevy Tahoe, so you have SUV space inside. 6-7 passengers can sit inside, although the two rear seats are best for minor children or small adults. When the seats are folded flat, you can fit all sorts of home improvement materials inside albeit not ones that would damage the interior. We can, however, go shopping for groceries and still have room for her walker in the back end as well. Its truly the "just right" vehicle. Interior comfort is awesome. Drivability is very good. AWD is very credible. Power and gas mileage is good. Get one while you can, they will be gone soon (from the new car market.) Go drive one, next thing will be you own one...and you won't be disappointed.

Great reliability, tons of room & rides very nice

While the exterior styling took a while to grow on my wife, I have always liked the style of the Flex since the first concept models were unveiled. The interior is very roomy with plenty of space for our family of 5 along with all of our stuff for a week long vacation. The third row seat is convenient for loading up a car full of people. The fuel economy and reliability of the Flex have been excellent, other than the usual wear items like tires, oil changes, spark plugs, etc. it has had a very low cost of ownership.

The quietest car I have ever ridden in

If you have the need to haul lots of cargo or people, and or drive long distances, this is the car for you. Comfortable, quiet, an easy car to drive. Very powerful even without the Ecoboost option. And, after years of selling not very many the dealers are finally getting requests for them! They say if someone drives one, they buy it. And, it has the highest owner retention - owners will buy another one. There is nothing else like it out there.
